Schaut euch Alize Fromment an dann sieht man den Unterschied w as Leichtigkeit wirklich ist. Pferd öffnen nicht das Maul und klappern ,nur wenn Stress da im Körper ist ...dieses Pferd sieht nicht tanzend aus . Alize reitet nur mit Halsring und es sieht viel liebevoller aus. Schaut und fühlt doch nur mal genau hin.....

What a great seat she has. And do you see how she releases the rains and gives the horse a pat on the neck when he does well. That is a Horseman who loves horses.

When a horse has been trained in a certain way for 16 to 17yrs of its life it becomes habit and that's all I'll say as a fair bit of this video the horse was behind the vertical and at points tucked into the chest and yes theres only a headstall on but a horse has a memory of what was done in the past!

Also es waren Gebrauchspferde für Kutsche und Military ,meint Geländeritte als Kurrier von Post und Telegrammen ,ich kannte noch einen der solches ritt im 2 Weltkrieg

4:55 (starker Trab), 6:25 (Galoppwechsel): Richter möchte ich hier nicht sein - wie soll dieser es beurteilen, wenn ein Reiter weder beim auszusitzenden Trab noch beim Galoppwechsel geschmeidig am Sattel bleiben kann und das Pferd permanent mit dem Schweif schlägt (auch in der Prüfung)??

Wondered if camera sped up a fraction? Considering the horse's long, long back he came under beautifully when it was needed (med trot, pirouettes, etc.). Super obedient. Had rider been able to lengthen his leg would have been an even more pleasing picture. But I'm nobody to judge, as my horse and I can't even do a Prelim test! And I have long legs!

Famous riders on famous horses. A treat to see them again. In those days, the horses were not as naturally "talented" as those bred today. But the training was far better -- and more correct -- than what is shown today.
