Hmm that is a tough one. First thing I would try is to make sure in the RS renderview you are looking through the correct camera.

You will need to load the video into a material, and then apply that material to the geometry.

Is it possible for the objects to have materials (colors) and morph between them as well? Because if I cant use materials or have to stick with just one general material for both objects, than its not that useful :/

It is possible to morph between materials. There are a few different ways you could do that, I believe I have made a video about it before.
