The Dashing Diva are the only ones that I use and I love the new ones with the extra sticky adhesive on it and the way you show the application of the nails that's amazing they look really gorgeous and I also have very small thumbnails and I just learned from you how to fix that when you use the rest of the nails because I do not like to waste them either

No, I don’t do MLMs. I also don’t want nail polish strips that wear at the tips and chip like polish. I’ve seen enough people wear them to see how they fare

Does lily and fox require uv light? I know u do after top coat but do u need to cure after applying wraps

You cut them too short. If you leave them longer and press them over and the ends then file off.

It works for me. No reason to press them over the edge to file off unless you like it that way. Stickers curved over the edge tend to lift rather quickly.

Your excema is not as bad as mine. Wow, it’s a painful condition isn’t it? Right now my thumb “gash” is so deep and nothing helps it. 😢 I love these nail stickers, but I am not comfortable using them. I feel like it would suffocate my nail. Thanks for doing these reviews!

I don’t film on days when it’s really bad. Nails don’t breathe, so they can’t be suffocated.

After many bad experiences with nail wraps, I picked up dashing diva on a whim when I saw the cute scandi floral pattern. I was absolutely delighted when I put them on and they lasted 12 days before I took them off due to slight yellowing of the wraps. They came off with a bit of oil and NO DAMAGE to my nails. I immediately went to the website and bought 4 sets when I saw the leftover strips in the pack were still good and I could use them for a second (and probably 3rd) manicure! 3 Manis for $8 a pack? 🤯 I'm not a bot and not sponsored. I am just really pleased with DD.

Correct. The new top coats don’t need a base and don’t need to be wiped off with alcohol after curing. Pretty cool.

Oooo I gotta try the skin tint! It looks beautiful on you. I love sheer coverage skin tint and I can always use extra SPF over my sunscreen 😍 I’ve seen some people use the Etude lip tint as a liquid blush. If you don’t want to throw it away, maybe try it as a blush and see if it’s usable that way?

I wish the skin tint weren’t so finicky. It only works with primer 😰 I ended up giving the lip tint to my mom. Not sure if she’ll actually use it but it was better than tossing for the time being. I’ve seen the liquid blush idea and it’s neat if it weren’t such a deep red. I’m too pale for such experiments 😅

Well, I tried gel nails (Ohora) for the first time. I’m not someone who has ever done her nails herself, and I’ve only ever had 3 professional manicures, and none recently. But I watched your video, followed everything you said - and I just removed the nails after 4 1/2 weeks because they were so grown out! (Maybe it’s not good to leave them on that long? I was just lazy…) They looked great the entire time; I had one come off about halfway through, but I just put another one on and didn’t have any more problems. Anyway, I’m really loving the gel nails, so thank you for your very helpful video.

I’m so glad you had a good experience! Usually about 2 weeks is the max recommended time, because there could be moisture trapped under there eventually (from micro lifting you can’t see). That happened to me with a pedicure once. It was looking perfect for a whole month but I decided to finally take it off. The nails under were white and soft. They thankfully recovered quickly once I took off the stickers and they could dry out.

Hey! I just noticed a semi cure gel nail manufacturer called "Huizi". It looks like the packaging for their 30 strips sets look very similar to popular brands that have been very good quality. It would be great if you could review them!

I have a whole rating for brands I like. It’s in the Nails playlist. Some of my favorites (especially with the squish light - should be no lifting) are lit gels, ohora, and nailog.

Day 4 here, I put them on with very little care using the MOYOU lamp before I found your wonderful video, and they are fine. I love the gel pad uv lamp! Thanks for the tip, I'll try your way next time I'm sure it'll be tons better! However looking at comments online it seems some colors and finish work better than other, right? Like matte MOYOU look bad very fast?

I love having pretty nails, but gel polish destroys my nails and makes them so brittle. Regular manicures don't last a day with me as I'll ruin them the second I leave the salon. These nail stickers have been a god send! Thank you for your easy to follow tutorials. So helpful! The trimming off the excess before filing has been a game changer and I'm happy there's another gal out there who also likes short nails.

I love Nailog ❤thanks to your reviews. I do notice a plastic like covering over the nail sticker, (I remove the covering over sticker) am I doing something wrong?

You aren’t doing anything wrong. Some brands add an extra plastic cover on top (especially with the semi cured gels) and some don’t. The last set of nailog I used a month or two ago had the covering. I don’t remember them having that in the past.

No and don’t plan on it. Don’t need to try illegal substances either to know they aren’t good for me :) the main issue I have is with the “business structure” and lack of transparency. MLMs aren’t about the product

I'm a newbie to Dashing Diva, and I know very little about gel nails. I had no idea that gel top coat could be applied directly over cured gel base coat. I always thought there had to be something in between them.

Hi i just want to say a perk of filing before it is cured is that you will not be putting acrylic powder into the air where u can potentially inhale it as that is very bad for you. I file it soft, its a little annoying but not bad at all, better to avoid the resin dust if you can :)

Did yhey shrink at all? Theres another cheap brand that doesn't require curing but its more like a paper sticker and shrinks a bit with the top coat.

So far it has surpassed my expectations. I was a bit disappointed after the application with the buckling on some nails, but it’s still looking fine and nothing is lifting or peeling. The buckling is minimal and nobody but me would notice, but I expected it to get worse with wear and it hasn’t moved.
