Tires off the ground! Also it not a requirement & not an option with that board, but use the chevron setting when tapering traffic. (You have the merging arrow option on there tho.) Use an standard arrow when just signaling traffic to get over. (Striping, mobile ops, etc…)

The Murphy safety switch system works by grounding power to the fuel shut down valve when the oil pressure drop below 10 psi or the coolant temp exceeded 220 degrees. That is what those shining little studs are for in the temp and pressure switches. Since, at start up, there is little or no oil pressure for the first few seconds one needs to override that system. That is what the red button if for. You press it and keep it pressed for a few seconds at start up to override the system that wants to ground the fuel valve, stopping the engine. Next. That's either a Cat or Perkins 4 Lt engine. They run at 2400 or 2500 rmps, not 2700. But that should be preset. Next. When decelerating the chipper, its a real good idea to let it idle all the way down before disengaging the clutch. That about it. Everythings else is pretty sound. Thanks for posting.

Instead of pushing it back into the tank, why not squirt it out of the system into a waste collection bucket? No offense or anything, but it seems like it would be better to remove the particles for the future. Anyhow, this did give me another layer of possibility in fixing my rig, so many thanks for that.

I have a tip/ trick ..... stop getting stuff that close to the cab and you wont break the glass !!!! Or upgrade to poly window and never worry about it again !!! I broke one because the door freezes shut in the winter and when i go to plow with it i cant get into it i pulled too hard and was left with just the handle !!!! 😂

Yes, what brand paint? I've been using Sumpter "Metal Master" DTM Direct to Metal Satin Black. But it's hard to find, so I wanted to find a new brand that is more readily available at a good price, and has both bucket and spray (rattle can) options

Great work. That is amazing. It looks effortless to move. In the past the ramps I've used on a gooseneck were almost too heavy for 1 person. Those look easy good job

It would depend on what the Equipment Rental Agreement states. I usually have them annotate what is wrong with the equipment upon rental, and charge whatever discrepancy they returned it with.

How thick is that decking? Just welding past the D-rings is a halfway fix if the floor is only 1/8". Also, those should be spun 90 degrees. They should pivot in the direction OF THE BINDER. Unless you run your binders & straps from front to back... You guys are a mess.. You already have binder rails, just mount the ratchet straps to the frame like any flatbed would do

Weld ( D ) rings in the direction of the pull or better yet use swivel hoist rings and weld a bracket between crossmembers . Quit using China garbage .
