interesting to see classic animation Simpsons on film, rather than the standard def video transfer the show has been using for all releases since its been broadcast. I did read somewhere the show was shot on film, but edited and mastered on tape, maybe in the future they'll do a proper rescan of the original elements rather than the upscales that are currently out there.

This is neat! I never really saw this when I went to Showcase Cinemas near Pittsburgh a few years ago. I usually went with a relative or two and we would leave as the credits were playing on the screen.

This came out during Pokemon's heyday in 1999. With Warner Bros. being the distributor of Pokemon at the time, anything attached to "Pokemon" was practically free easy advertising (for me anyways) having made me aware of films such as Iron Giant, Wakko's Wish, Tweety's High Flying Adventure, and Osmosis Jones.

Born May 1991. I was 4 when this came out. I remember it being...fine. i didnt love it like i did with lion king. One thing ill say is how the first 10 years of my life almost feels like 2 different life times, but a decade as an adult can barely feel like anything. (Also, i think almost associate "pocahontas" with gargoyles.
