when is the dam being removed
@HikeWalkPaddleАй бұрын
in this video, the only dams are beaver dams. I think you mean the dam in Ipswich further down river. I am not sure exactly when that dam will be removed.

Went to Eisenhower College my freshman year when RIT bought it and put first year photo students there when it was a two year waiting list to go to Rochester. Liked Sneaky Falls, but it was a way station for the big action I wanted.

PERFECT! No scaning the sight...just staying put and watching the light dwindle down to almost nothing.!!! The best I have seen so far. THANKS!!!!

I can’t imagine the civilization that actually built these starforts world wide , and in perfect alignment with earths energy grid would approve of the miles of chain link fencing all over this misunderstood treasure. Those that inherited this, erased the history and replaced it with crap.

It’s a “ Starfort” like the one where The Statue of Liberty rests. And everything you have been told about starforts is a lie. They were not bastions. They were battery’s…in every sense of the word.

Yo this town is historically significant and you highlighted only the parts of it that are rumoured to have inspired an actually mid movie. But shoutout to the bandstand tho fr

maybe on the next version. I was trying to keep it short and give people an idea of what the town looks like. Thanks for the feedback!

We used to skate on it in the winter. You could go for miles

I would like to be able to kayak or walk in Reedy Meadow, but too much vegetation these days to be able to get out there... Skating across the meadow sounds really fun!

There used to be the Strand Theatre in Seneca Falls in the mid 70s. Right at the 2:30 point in the video to the right. We used to go there to see Sunday matiness for $2 there. I was in junior high school. Most of the films were those low budget sci fi or horror films. Wonderful memories.

Thank you for sharing the memory. the Strand Theater was before my time. Stay Tuned for more outdoor videos! Thanks for watching!

Ward Reservation and Holt Hill are wonderful places to walk! There are many trails beyond the one filmed here that are worth exploring.
