It’s a nice list, but it seems all the games are from 2023 or at least very recently released. So this is a list of games from 2023 vs. the best games (from any year) you happened to play in 2023? Piece of advice - don’t limit yourself to new stuff if you are looking for good games. The best games you could have played in 2023 are from 2009-2022 for example. There will always be a bigger backlog of vastly superior games available for you to play than what you could select from current year. Of course, if you have to play current year releases for your job, or for something to so with KZfaq, etc. I am aware extenuating circumstances may exist. All things being equal, let father time separate the wheat from the chaff.

its kinda relevent that you tell the listeners where you got that info from. Chronicles preface say: A HISTORY of the Warcraft Univers. Who writes History? Winner. its very very very relevant that you consider all information under this lens. It will tell you alot about what is about to happen in TWSS before it happens. considering this you can predicting shadowlands in 2015 instead of yelling retcon like so many.

The stories found in the Warcraft universe are by far the best part of the series. The characters, the peoples, and the designs are some of my favourites across all fiction. I've been playing WoW since I was a little kid, and while it took a while to get to actual end game stuff, I've spent a lot of time and energy in this world. Your videos have been excellent recaps. I would have gone on hundreds of tangents and backgrounds before I got to the real meat of these expansion stories. I quit retail at the end of BFA, never played Shadowlands or Dragonflight (and probably never going to play The War Within). Nobbel did a recap of everything in Shadowlands but it pretty much went in one ear and out the other. I hope you plan on continuing this series because for all that they squandered, Warcraft still has quite a few places to go, and I would love to hear about them.

Inget that shadowlands wasn't the best expansion and the worst lorewise but tww and the world soul is looking to be the best wow storytelling has to offer. If you have to just skip shadowlands and go into df lore.

Night elafs are my favorit race on Alliace and Troll has always been interesting cause they speak patoa 😂 i didn't know they are the family where Night elf and blood elfs come from! Made me enjoy them even more! Vol'jin is the G.O.A.T

I like Warcraft lore but I really wish they didn't recycle ideas and places so much. I know this isn't a new thing with the Warcraft storylines but it makes it very hard to recount events or even follow along. All throughout the history they mention "THE well of eternity" and "THE world tree" that always seem to be at risk of and/or being destroyed yet they never seem to run out of them... It's even the same with the worlds themselves like how many versions of "Draenor" do we need? The obvious one is how no one ever seems to actually die too. They've always got some way of explaining away a situation where someone was previously dead and it just gets tiring. It's hard to be impacted by the death of a character when you just KNOW they will be back in the next expansion. The infighting between races / factions is hard to understand too. You expect the "Alliance" to actually be allied with eachother, and the "Horde" to be one big swarm / hivemind. I kind of wish they would reboot it but it would just end up terrible so idk why I even said that. Oh and don't get me started on the villains. How many times are they going to do the Wizard of Oz "pulling the curtain back" trick on the main antagonist like for real it's comical at this point.

As someone who lapsed early in Battle for Azeroth and is getting back into the game, this was hugely helpful. Every other lore video is full of snark and juvenile jokes and pop culture references and it's so refreshing to see one that just tells the lore without making it about anything else. Please, please make a Shadowlands video if you can, it'd be really helpful! Love the video. Thanks for this. Wish more gaming content was like this instead of the snark and ragebait and wackiness that's more normal.

I wish I had seen this video 10 years ago. Warcraft 3 was the first game I ever played as a kid and still love it. I never had any problems with the story but it’s so cool to hear about so many things that factor in. Like the orcs first blood drinking. The original burning legion invasion 10,000 years ago. Medivh.
