A very welcome blast from the past. grew up watching this been looking to rewatch in years. strangly enough typing naked video scottish comedy into google did not return desired results. I'm sure jeanette cranky is a wonderful person and great enterainer but i wasn't ready for that. So thank you, this will reduce the hours of therapy needed. i remembered the show title but hadn’t a clue whom it featured. Helen Leaderer ❤️i went out with a girl very much like her but she hadn’t them Eyes. They are incredible & unusual. The Electrician at work born in Hampshire did a cracking Rab C . Impressions got me through school & work so I really appreciate good one. That comb over sketch still gets shown on various historical things. Thanks 😁👍ps i have seen Comb Overs & Tufts Above Ears worn recently by smartly dressed old guys . Never thought I’d see them again.

This episode with Rab C Nesbit was the one that launched the character. One late night in Glasgow with just this sketch to film., no body wanted to do. It and everyone was tired so just to get it done with gregor put on the suit and improvised the entire sketch.

I have followed Mosley's programs and podcasts for year. Since trust me I'm a doctor... lately on channel four ... Can't believe he's gone. I will miss him always. He helps me and family to get healthier . Love to him and his family.

I would suggest - with the greatest respect - that NV was not like NTNOCN because the latter didn't have recurring characters. That would make it a sort of forerunner to The Fast Show and similar sketch comedy - although I can't think of anything it would be contemporaneous with in a similar vein.

It had a Benny Hill Show vibe production wise standing to reason being on when he was the biggest TV comedian in the world at the time (for a long time) and Gregor Fisher was great at pulling those Benny style faces getting him the cigar adverts on ITV.

I would’ve voted for Jeremy C in 2019 but I think today it’s not just how we’re almost forbidden to laugh at each other , it’s more we’ve forgotten to laugh at ourselves. For a start, the consumer onslaught of on screen advertising which always portrays a world of neat & tidy surreal perfection of every person & situation in my opinion is offsetting or subliminally acting against the ‘ we are all so tolerant & diverse nowadays’ narrative . I would tell my kids “ you can tick all the virtuous boxes you like but if the old girl or scruffy old guy two doors down breaks her hip trying to mow their grass or the local amenities are ignored & crumble allowing every tree & shrub to be paved over then stealthily replaced by a KFC which nobody asked for - whilst you’re indoors voting against deforestation in Ecuador , what’s the point ? “ I wanna be in a kind world but a homogeneous one has crept through the back gate because everyone is too timid to make a noise in my humble opinion 😁👍❤️
