I couldn't really tell what face you were drawing, tbh. Did it have fabric over the face? I'm not sure what you were aiming at.

I am thinking about taking your anatomy course. I did watch the free preview and I noticed in the free version of the preview you drew the palm side of the arm and then proceeded to add the musculature to the arm , before I purchase, I want to know how do I learn anatomy from the video is it just by copying and redrawing over and over the muscles that you were demonstrating in the video?

This was so fun to watch. Proportions would be awesome! Just hands class would be really interesting to me. I just subscribed, so I will look, but if you haven’t done it. That is one of my weaknesses. PS: bought the book Learn To Draw Action Heroes.

Anyone who bought this shot Huion Kamvas 22 Plus is buying twice, because the device breaks 2 months after the warranty expires. Windows 11 suddenly cannot find any drivers for this device!!!!! Anyone who then relies on support is abandoned, because the stupid sayings from these people who work in support at Huion have no idea about their own devices. The simplest and best saying is "The device is defective, buy a new device from us straight away." I knew there was something wrong with the device, otherwise I wouldn't have contacted support. Instead of repairing the device, Huion just wants to sell their new, expensive shot. Just like the Huion statement, you buy a new cable, which I had already done before I contacted support. As a photographer who edits images every day and relies on a graphics tablet, this was a lesson for me that I had bought the Huion Kamvas 22 Plus shot. The pen is also not precise and I have to edit the photos several times with other tablets, even though the Huion Kamvas 22 Plus was installed and set up by an IT specialist. But this problem, I'm not alone in the fact that the Huion Kamvas22 Plus is defective right after the warranty expires, because you can find others on the internet who have the same problems with this device and there are quite a few!!! These also got their asses kicked by Huion support. All I can say is HANDS OFF HUION!!!! Attached email from Huion: Hi Info, Thank you for your update. If the tablet is not working even after changing a new 3-in-1 cable, we can conclude that the issue is with the tablet itself. I'm sorry to inform you that the Kamvas 22 Plus has been over two years since your purchase date. Thus, I regret to inform you that we can no longer send any replacements to you. Instead, we suggest you purchase a new one from our website at store.huion.com/. We have a wide variety of models that'll suit your needs. If you don't need to use the cable, we can help you with the order return and refund. Have a nice day.------------- New Arrivals: 18.4" Screen with 4K UHD Resolution | Order Now >> Best regards, Jane Huion Customer Service Team

Robert, even though you did this video four years ago, it 's still very inspiring. You're really good at what you do and at the same time you are quite un-assuming and 'real'. The fact that you love the comic characters, and practice and draw them, whether you're working for a big company or not, is a pure 'passion'. And that's what comes across in your videos. There are many wonderful artists out there with videos on drawing, etc., and you're definitely one of them...one of the BEST! Thank you for helping so many people in their art journey.

really love the vids! was wondering if you could maybe sketch or draw gorr the god butcher (from comics) similar to how you drew moonknight. i think hes really cool and well designed but i just can seem to draw him, and i think seeing you draw him would be awesome and extremely helpful.

I tried to create that one in Procreate but it doesn't support the ribbon effect that is needed to make it functional. My Spider-Web brush in Clip Studio works perfectly but the brush engine is better in that software, at least for that type of effect.

I have done art for years. This is a totally different beast and way of doing things for me. I tried it today and it was quite enjoyable. I just wish rather than hover and touch the tablet, that there was a way to only draw when pressing the button on the stylus. Is there a setting for that?

In your vids you do a lot of rendering of skin ,which is great but, id love to see you Render other surfaces like say, tree bark, leaves.. hard n soft surfaces but with more texture than skin.

Thank you for this amazing and truly helpful video. Since you are filming from left (even if you are left handed, as myself), i got a good opportunity to study your hand. It seems like you have a quiet interesting grip on your pencil. It looks as if your thumb is somehow wrapped around the pencil. Is it a particular reason why you hold the pencil this way? I tend to hold the pencil with the my fingertips myself. It feels like it increases the ability to draw details only moving my fingers. The drawback of holding it like i do, is that the lines often are not precise enough. I think i will try your type of grip for some time, to see if it will increase the stability of my lines. If It would be helpful to see your hand from the other side, so fingers crossed you will film your next video putting the camera on your right side. Thank you again, for sharing your knowledge.

i believe the idea is to draw larger, but to experiment with dramatically different grip styles to achieve satisfactory definition of different sorts of detail. you might hear people talk about "locking" the wrist or hand joints to make strokes from the shoulder or with the arm, but as you draw what you find really happening is that anything allowing the grip to span a greater surface area of your hand (ie. by including the length of your thumb) is going to prevent unsteady line quality because as long as these articulations of your hand are resting against what will be essentially a straight & rigid pencil, any little intervening joints are going to be completely unable to move so you can use more of the hand, and on a larger scale if you need to avoid dilution of precision. but don't forget you sometimes need to just practice holding the pencil in some zany oddball ways you wouldnt think of for basic penmanship - getting the expressiveness out of a pencil isnt necessarily uncomfortable to do, while it is a large part of the reason you wouldnt just be drawing with some other possibly more precise tool in the modern day

Thank you for the demonstration! I really do appreciate all of your tutorial videos! I'd love to see more fold videos, particularly how you break down which fold to put where in a costume design that's not something as easy to reference, like how tears and rips affect folds or when you have bits of fabric impacting each other
