Thank you for showing this performance , she NAILED IT!!! Her vocals are insane!! And can we just talk about that background music?!! I just recently started to appreciate country music. I heard an absolutely devastating song called Concrete Angel by her. After that, the rest was history. "I later learned that that song was a true story 😢" Looking forward to listening to more country. Martina McBride just opened the door way for me 🙂

I believe in an interview he said he was an only child, and also i believe this somg was written by someone else

Yeah the song was written by Randy Montana and Dave Turnbull. They reached out to Luke to sing it after a few other singers declined it. I personally think the song was much better in Luke's hands, not that I don't like the other artists they reached out to, but rather I just feel like the way Luke did it would have been my favorite if all 3 artists released it.

Sza is an R&B artist so she brings vocals to the table loll. But she does have a rap style in some of her songs-especially her latest album SOS. Thank you for reacting! Hoping to see more in the future!!😊

Thread the Needle is a musical statement of the type of band they are. Definitely more prog metal, and an experimental and extreme side due to the contrast of the falsetto beginning and the breakdown.

@TaraRyze5 ай бұрын
I would do the EP’s before you get into later stuff! 😁 I agree 100% about substance..there are very few artists I enjoy that write “simpler” lyrics but I much prefer something poetic and metaphorical! Vessel is the master of that!
@brianalmeida19645 ай бұрын
The song Shelter is so reminiscent of Vessel's earlier musical projects pre Sleep Token. Great reaction. Between the EPs and Sundowning are also 3 non-album singles that Sleep Token released in 2018. They are Jaws, Hey Ya (Outkast cover), and The Way That You Were. I'm not sure if you have already reacted to those, but if not, they are definitely worth checking out. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️

It was inevitable that the brother died because of his lifestyle. Lit up the streets that never sleep. That tells me drugs.This is my number one favorite song. My grandfather died on an indian motorcycle when my mother was five years old. My father in law died on his motorcycle. My cousin died on a motorcycle. Thank you for sharing!❤ Luke combs did not write this song and he is an only child. 😊🤠

Never thought you would enjoy gods. You've come a long way my dude! I happen to agree with your take on screaming in metal. It expresses the raw emotions so excuisitely in a way no other genre does. Sleep token is definitely the band for you. If you are looking for another band that blends singing and screaming, Northlane is a great one to look into. I would place them under prog metal/rock. Starting with the album Node would be my suggestion. You could spin a wheel and any song you land on is good, though my personal favorite is Weightless.
@PeteBaldwin9 ай бұрын
One of my favourite songs from them. I only got into them when the new album came out and it took me a while to listen back to their older stuff but this one really stood out. The bit at 5:45 and then the way the drums come in, the guitar noise in the background etc is just perfection. Then the raspy vocals after that. Amazing! Also, unless I've missed it, you've reacted to the non-album version of Blood Sport. The album version is different and definitely worthy of a separate reaction.
