I don't care if speakers sound good i want to know whats it like to mix on as that is what they are for

I'm looking my next studio speakers. Thank's you for this video. I have some questions now: 1.- Do these speakers works for mixing and mastering? 2.- What's the best audio mode (MEME) for do a mixing project? 3.- If I do not have a treated room will work for me? even if I use the IK Multimedia ARC Studio? 4.- Have you worked with Dynaudio LYD-48 or Neumann KH-120? For get a comparison, which one translate better once you already had finished the mixing project?

The sound test was hilarious to listen to on my KRK’s. I have the 02’s in my other room and I love them. But those aren’t enough on the bottom end for me. So these may serve a different purchase for those looking for 35hz or lower.

I was waiting for your review on these since I saw your post on insta with these on the back. I'm pretty pretty close on pulling the trigger on these and ditching the dynaudio's. Have you experienced any self noise or any of the white noise some of the users are experiencing? Great video and demo! The low end sounds amazing, the decay and punch of the 808 was clear as crystal. Keep the great videos, dude!

Hi. thank you for the video. I have one question: have you tried to plug electric guitar or bass to 3 or 4 inputs on the back? Can these inputs be use to record guitar or bass and (I guess using the trim knob in control centre) achieve some usable input gain level for these passive instruments? This is very important info to me. Thanks in advance.

Couldnt help notice some crackeling in the background. I've had tube mics that made that same exact noise. Could never figure out if it was coming from the tube, or the capsule. It makes me worry about buying another tube mic.

I thinkt the ssl uc1 is strange with its functions. Why is the the bus compressor on the chanel strip, but no aux sends or no single fader? And than they create an app to control plugins (which is super cool) but they dont allow you to remap the most useless thing on it, which is the bus compressor controls. I think pritty much all of these controlrs need ti become more fexible, is it so hard to make it so that xou can remap the buttons????

One thing that always concerns me a bit with all those fancy be technical features like touch sensitivity on knobs and stuff, it is all additional vulnerable tech that can fail. It’s like it is with cars, more high tech means more often you have to get stuff fixed. More failure potential. The new softube fader mkii has haptic feedback on those faders, sure it feels nice but is it worth the price jump and do we really need it?

I have a UC1 and UF1, I LOVE the 360 mixer and use it to get an initial SSL style mix using SSL's channel strips and now that we have 360 Link I can also integrate other strips (I have a lot of Softube by the way) and FX too, all this is seamlessly inside Studio One. I think the choice between the two comes down to how much you like the SSL and Softube emulations, visually what you'd prefer to see in front of you, and whether you think the 360 mixer is an advantage to you. 😎
