Well the Stormers won the URC in there first attempt. They failed to win a super rugby title in 20 years. It wasn’t that long ago they left many of the same players still about.

Here we go again when pundits and ex-players who have clear allegiances to Super Rugby franchises and the AB's are asked their opinions. They ALWAYS choose their past teams (eg. in this case the Crusaders/Blues) and seem unable or unwilling or afraid to show objective analysis. Just look at their record in the tipping competition. For example, a Blues team that just lost to a last place undermanned Crusaders team and has lost every meaningful finals game for the last many years will beat Leinster which is basically the Irish team which has given the AB's all they can handle for their last few years? It is highly unlikely to say the least. To his credit, James Parsons is otherwise a great analyst of the game and significantly less rabid as a Blues fan than Sir John Kirwan, another pundit who uses his platform to relentlessly shill for the Blues. I am Canadian and watch rugby from afar but such favouritism would never be allowed and is never seen by commentators in the major professional sports leagues in North America. PS - this comment is nothing against the Blues - I am just using them as my example. I love NZ rugby!

Love Marcelo, but would've really liked to have this chat post-Warriors stint. Its much nicer getting to see what the other ex-players have been up to since they've gone. I'd suggest reducing the frequency of this show if ex-players aren't available to chat
