I’m watching KZfaq and I must say how very disappointed I am in hearing how horribly run this park is we were thinking of reserving there for a month however, we will make reservations elsewhere since the change of management has pirating new policies. Ocala, sheesh.

In 4 years my work over here will be done , and I will be there with my RV . I have a friend in park. I am also a member of the Florida Trail Association, I will be a trail crew volunteer working in the Ocala National forest 🙂

Will you have transportation trams inside the Show's facility for 2024? Last year for the first time there was none and I had to leave early without visiting many displays as I could not walk that much. Please let me know so I can plan accordingly.

What once was a Great Park has turned into a real unfriendly place to live because of the management that Newbys decided to hire. It turned into either you were expected to kiss up to the managers that were only there for visual purpose only. The so called maintenance guy spent his days riding around in a golf cart loaded down with items making it appear as though he was taking care of any needed repairs although only Outside Contractors were always called to repair anything that needed attention. Lot rent increased drastically once these “new” managers started because way more was being spent to pay contractors all the while the park maintenance guy sit on his golf cart and micro managed the repaired instead of doing them himself. Snow birds were being considered 2nd class as of these new managers were concerned and constant remarks were made by the managers about how the Canadians could not leave soon enough. Park Moral took a turn for the worse as soon as the new managers started and then since the so called maintenance guy was too good to do any mowing and landscaping as had always been done by past Park maintenance that this too was farmed out to an Landscape Mowing Contractor witch resulted in the destruction of residents homes, skirting, property, and Autos being damaged by sand, rocks, mowers, weed eaters that were being used with no reguard to personal property. When management was confronted about this damage being done the responce was “the mowers are here to do a job and that’s just the way it is “. Leisure Days was portrayed as being a Christian Community all the while hiring foul mouthed managers that constantly talked behind residence backs. I’m so glad I sold my home there and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
