I also look for any excuse to talk abt the Shadowhunter chronicles lol- it’s my whole life at this point. My dream is to have a library in my house and a huge shelf dedicated to the Shadowhunter chronicles!!!

Thank you for this review, spoilers and all. I got one hour into the audiobook and had to tap out. You see, I met my first boyfriend when we were 18, broke up with him three different times because of his addiction problems, but kept getting back together with him because I was so stupid-in-love--until he died in a fire when we were 22, before we could get back together again for round 4. That was 32 years ago, and I've had other LTR's since. My current is 20 years and still going strong. But the sad fact is, I've never gotten over BF #1. Not really. And a book like this one is just too corrosive to my mental health.

The second book is SOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the first and third. Not only is the plot always moving, but its always building up on stuff it has setup. The third protagonist, Greyson, was an amazing decision, i love how ALL characters change a lot over such a quick read: Anastasia goes from gleaning ppl, to almost dying to terrorists to a crime investigator, to a politician, to a secret island investigator, and back to a politician. Lucifer goes from gleaning scythes, to having to deal with an old villain, to fighting his old best friend, to being framed for terrorism. Greyson goes from a humble kid to a nimbus agent aprentice to an unsavory to a fake identity to a real unsavory to the most important character ever.

well, as much as I don't like the movie adaptation, it led to people finding the books gotta say I liked the series a lot despite being an avid fan of the books previously, but I also expeced it to be different from the books

⭐️One thing no one ever talks about is that as life and age changes so does our reading taste or methods! When I like to read the most has completely changed in my late 20s and what I find my chill reads has changed too! Wishing everyone well ❤

That Book and movie are so underrated big time. This book is my second favorite book and my third favorite movie You forgot to add this was book and movie. That had a horcrux being destroyed which we did not know until book 6. Until Dumbledore told Harry but that did happen that's why this is good. If Harry had know killed the. Basilisk Hogwarts would have been closed big time.

I had the same thought about the Basilisk feeding habits on my latest reread… what does it eat? It only petrified people and they show no other sign of injury. I understand it might be to stop it being too gruesome for kids reading it.

Also for one of your books that u said talks abt rape culture. Obviously talking abt rape is very important and should be taken seriously which brings me into my point of nit calling rape a culture. It’s nit a culture, it’s been going on since the beginning of time. To call it a culture imo mocks the severity of how bad the issue is. There’s 80s culture and 90s culture but rape is not.

This was easily the worst thing I've ever seen on Broadway. People give standing ovations for just normal performances now-a-days, and this is the first show I've seen on Broadway where everyone stayed planted firmly in their seats. If the time-travel gimmick didn't turn you off, the long boring conversations between Harry and his 'cursed' child examining how hard it is to be Harry Potter and how hard it is to be Harry Potter's cursed son will just put you over the edge. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, have seen all of the movies multiple times, read the books a couple of times and I'm here to tell you, this was just horrible. If you're over the age of 12, you can safely skip this one. No amount of magic tricks and special effects can save this bomb.

Just finished the book and I still havent processed all my thoughts . I would probably come back to write my thoughts again lol. I know there were so many momments in the book that made my heart sink but there was this scene where griffin goes to theo's old room and sees those picture frames of him and jackson by the window and many more things he couldnt relate to his history with theo and he just runs out of the room unbearably . He then closes his eyes to think of theo and realizes how the theo he is always thinking of is not the one he just witnessed in that room. Mannnnnn that thing broke me to pieces and i dont know why . I think throughout the story even I had a hard time moving on from theo.
