Didnt the splice need to go on the outgoing side of the fuse box? I did what you've shown here and my auxiliary lights don't work, but the cargo lights still come on.

Have 2013 suburban passenger side third row I see where the cable is connected but it does not articulate like the one in your video. Looks like the cable is set up on it to pull it downward. Any ideas?

Great, very scientific video. Only thing is I understand that some ants prefer meat over sugar. Didn't see any mention of that. Otherwise very informative. Thank you, thank you.

I'm so happy I found this Video! My Monster 750 quit running at a Stop Sign the other day and I have been trying to diagnose it. Turns out the hose between the Fuel Pump and Fuel filter had fallen off! I wouldn't have ever found the issue if I hadn't seen this video and how to reach inside to troubleshoot! Thank you!

I like the tool maker idea there! That could be the answer to my problem. Couldn't you just use two wrenches rather than welding the fitting to the manifold? My problem is at the other end. The fitting comes loose easy but the pipe is seized to it; it twists the pipe.

I followed your directions precisely and it was a disaster because it was way too much water, the few ants that went in drowned immediately! I began adding more borax and sugar till I don't know what in heaven's name the ratio was! Someone else said they just left it "grainy", will try to fix it again but will probably have to start again from scratch 😤

Don't give up. I promise you it will work. I just tried a few different ratios and then waited and watched. It doesn't take long for them to catch on. Within minutes you'll know. The first time mine was also too much water. You watch em drown and you're like "well that's just great. Now they can't go and tell their friends" 😂😂😂 I also watched these suckers walk towards it and they immediately made a U turn. I then went with a different approach in using 3 tablespoons of Honey, one teaspoon of Borax and only a little water to make it a paste. I had read before that you must test to see what ratio brings them in. Too much Borax they won't bite. When you've already spent money purchasing the Borax, when you're frustrated, desperate, there's no reason to give up. It upset me enough I took the time to make smaller amounts JUST for the sake of watching if they'd go to it. That's all I wanted em to do. I figured if they're making uturns I've got something wrong here. Borax is overpowering the sweet I put in & they're smart enough to dodge it. If you place a crumb of cake down. Look at how fast they swarm over. I promise it'll work. As long as you get it right to where there's a trail you'll know it'll work. Remember don't worry about 3 parts sweet..Because that Borax inside of it is enough to kill them.. You can also use a Bay leaf mixture. But don't you give up!! 🥰

They really REALLY need to make these easily rechargeable by the end user or at least an auto-shop or something. It's ludicrously wasteful how many of these expensive units get junked when the only thing they needed was refrigerant, but that's modern capitalism for ya....make trash products that don't last and are far more difficult than necessary for the average person to repair.

cleaning with high pressure is a super bad idea. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y5adp91krsnLZaM.html ESPECIALLY using a very high pressure washer.. it will destroy the glue that is holding the ceramic structure together, as well as the insulation.

Good diagnosis and repair. Cheers! If the same thing happens again, you could upgrade the relay to a contactor which can handle higher current. The only caveat is the contactor would be remote mounted with wires soldered to the board to run to the contactor.

@redneckoriental On the box,Terro provides the numbers 5.4% borax, and 94.6% other. If we assume that "other" is water + sugar and that the amount of water is equal to half of the other ingredients, then we have enough information to solve for the percentage of sugar which we can use to compute the Terro ratio of borax to sugar. I have done the calculations and here are the results: 61.3% sugar, 33.3% water, 5.4% borax This turns out to be a ratio of 11.4 sugar to 1 borax. This is very close to the 10 to 1 borax you tested. This estimation is corroborated by your remark that your 5 to 1 mix takes about a day to work, where you find Terro takes 2 to 3 days to work. It would seem that twice as much borax (5:1 vs 11:1) results in poisoning the ants twice as fast. Personally I would go with 10:1 rather than 5:1, the reason being that you want to give the ants more time to poison the entire colony including the queen and new larva. More borax will work faster, but if it works too fast it wont reach everyone. One slight addition I would make to the recipe is to replace some of the sugar with honey. (idk, maybe 1/4 or so) The reason for the honey is that honey contains natural antibiotics that will preserve the bait. Just like bees, ants hate bacteria and are less likely to go for something that has spoiled. Another thing that many people overlook is Terro's bait containers, not only do they make it easy to move the bait around, but the top of the container helps reduce evaporation and keep the water in. If Terro gets to dry the ants have trouble drinking it. Thank you for your experimentation.

Wow you're a fascinating individual! I'm not being sarcastic, I mean it. The fact that you can do such a calculation is amazing to me. Math has ALWAYS been so difficult for me. I tried and tried. I ended up not going for my dreams because I had such a hard time understanding the concept. I believe it was also hard due to the fact that I was taught sooo many methods... People who understand Math are on a whole other level. Just like those who are Musicians. Anyway, I see that ability as extraordinary.

I don't believe it's a one hour fix. Dismantling, getting tools ready, looking up the part and ordering, putting the thing back together, cleaning the work space and getting the tools out of the way, all this takes more than an hour.

Thanks you so much for your formulation ! BTW, how to make a protein based bait ( with formulation ). The reason I asked because some ants like protein more than sugar .
