Thanks for the video. Thoughts on the Samyang 20mm v Samyang 14mm lens in terms of quality? Ive got the 14mm and wondering if the 20mm is worth getting. 14mm lens is ok but quality isnt great now that im used to using sigma 28mm which is amazingly good.
@AstroHBF2 ай бұрын
For quite some time it was my favourite lens. I use the 24mm Samyang over it now just because it’s auto focus, also I smashed the 20mm on concrete. I will replace it tho at some point. It’s way better in the corners distortion wise than the 14mm and it’s decently sharp if you get a good copy

Hello thinking about buying the ASIAIR Plus, I do have a Sony Alpha A7 with a 300mm Tamron lens, I was wondering when you setup the shots, does the program account automatically for the Processing time of the pictures ? For example on my Sony if I take 5 min exposure, I then need to wait 5 min for processing before taking another photo, does it account for that ? Or do I set the intervals manually ?
@AstroHBF3 ай бұрын
You need to turn off the internal noise reduction setting I think it’s called. You don’t want the camera to do this as it removes stars thinking it’s noise. You set the camera to bulb and the asi does the rest
@Zisuen3 ай бұрын
@@AstroHBF Awesome, I tried taking one 30sec photo and it displays it right away :D What a difference :D One more thing I have an older Sony Alpha A7, how do I connect it to the ASIAIR Mini ? mini-usb to usb-a, or can I use sony-multi to usb-c, what cable do you use ?

interesting video which provides a lot of insight. I found it hard to find a comparison between these two lens' and this video was perfect for me. That could be the downside of our Sony system. We don't have "drop in filter" system. Thus, the postion of the frame can be shifted while we are removing the lens and put the h alpha clip in....
