I heard putting Vaseline on the logo will prevent it from dying with the material. Maybe do some research on that?

Make sure to rinse them really well afterwards! Otherwise the color will likely transfer onto whatever touches them. Also that kind of Rit dye is for more organic materials like cotton, so once rinsed the color may not stay. Rit has dyes for synthetic materials too, but unfortunately the darkest they make is charcoal grey.

Bro you can't do that. I use this dye all the time. The fabric itself has to be heated in a bath with the dye or else it won't properly soak into the fabric. Also it needs to be rinsed out afterwards to remove excess. If you spray it on like that and just let it dry in the sun anytime those carpets get damp or somebody steps on them with wet shoes that dye will transfer to their shoes and then to whatever surface they walk on next. I'm sorry to say but the way you did this It's probably going to cause you more problems.

Hey brother I appreciate your video. I replaced the cowl and had the two Philips push grommets strip out very easily… I’ll have to get new ones. Is that a common issue? Also wondering if you can flush out the areas beneath the master cylinder and the fan blower since there are leaves and junk in there. There must be drains right? I just don’t want to clog the drains with the plant matter and it’s difficult to get it all out.
