#TalkCriticalThinking This video has made me aware of my (previously unrecognized) use ofcritical thinking in today's era of instant knowledge in the palm of my hand. With the dawn of the internet and the smartphone, I've had to learn to think critically to avoid scams and definitly before forwarding info that later proved to be false.

Thanks - it was at this point at the book when I decided that maybe just watching the videos would be the most time-effective option!

This is great advice. I don’t think it needs the “Ten Commandments” slide every time.

The only problem here is that reasoning typically doesn't work with anyone who isn't already open to your position. And when someone is open to your position, reasoning is often unnecessary and more difficult than the alternatives. I mean, just looking at it reasonably, you're better off not reasoning with others.

#TalkCriticalThinking Imagine what the world would be like if we all just assumed. Rigorous critical thinking you have to be obliged to change your mind.

What a great video! I am currently studying for a Level 2 certificate in Counselling skills and this video was shown to us in one of the classes. I liked just how simple it was and also shared this in my videos. Thank you!

Interesting that this video discredits two women on the basis of them "not being scientifically trained". It is ironic, really.
