When i heard how these zu speakers were made a few years ago i thought .." theres no way sny of their line will sound like they compete with the rest . Not the way to design speakers. And no, im not a novice . I still havent heard these zu, id like to . This video though is god awful , and comfirms my initial thoughts . A week ago danny from g.r research also found deep flaws to zus design. Two whizzer cones with a supertweeter , in a waveguide ... i f' ing accoustic mess

There is very little a power cord needs to do to deliver flawless performance. Exotic designs and extraordinary claims are irrelevant. At no point in use does the power cord carry signals. It simply conveys power from your home's main supply to the power supply in your device. Look for something simple, sturdy, and safe to use.

My old amp combo! Bought in the mid 80s from The Cornflake Shop, just off Tottenham Court Road in West London. Amps enclosures made entirely from perspex. Also used DNM Reson solid core speaker cables. I wish I never sold them😢

Amazing sound quality. These speakers are amazing I own a pair and am glad not too many know about them . I am glad that reviewers are biased against electrostatic speakers. Good taste is rare and there are advantages to having it. The reviewers talk about a narrow sweet spot but all speakers have a narrow sweet spot lol so what if I have to sit in the middle to get the kind of sound these make so what!

Dear hifi friends, a Benchmark Audio DAC-1 is currently on sale here in Germany. As I have never heard of it before, my question is whether it is a benefit for me. My small hi-fi chain is a Rega io, Cambridge Audio MNN10 and Spendor A2 loudspeakers. As an alternative I would also consider a Denafrips Ares II, but the DAC-1 is half the price and maybe twice as good? The DAC-1 is in my shopping basket as a precaution. Thanks for any help!

I had an Audio Engineer friend design a stereo for me and he came up with a pair of the 3 way BE-10 in Maple with a Parasound P6 Pre and Benchmark AHB-2 combo driving them. I kept things simple with a new-old stock Oppo 95 BDP and a Project carbon evo T/table, all but the T/table use balanced cables, with Aurealis Litz speaker cables, result is a totally noise-free system which has huge sound and amazing detail, I`m VERY pleased with these speakers and will never sell them..

Watching this video with my studio headphones on. This just opend my eyes. It's even more immersive, then listing to music on my JBL Bluetooth speakers, while i take bath and sing along. I might consider the 674,900$ worth an upgrade. This video excellently captures the true sound profile of these high-end speakers. The audio quality feels incredibly authentic, providing an immersive experience that truly showcases the capabilities of these remarkable speakers. Thank you your guidance. I was looking for a new pair of Speakers, that would fulfill my needs for years.
