I believe some contries have some waxes under import restrictions, but lets be honest, who doesn't have a bit of wax at home? Some old birthday candle rolling around in a drawer will work just the same.

Thank you very much. I often wondered how you made such intricate. for lack of a better word, stems or arms for the pipe. I always thought it was one piece of wood. This really looks wonderful and I really do appreciate this. Thank you.🌹😇🌹😇💝🤣🌹

Wait till you have to change the blades, a real pain in the but. I asked Vevor for help , a video or better than the manual that comes with it and they gave me a run around no help. Found that the Jet is almost the same and there are a few videos on KZfaq.

You're not the first to say that changing of the blade is an issue. I haven't tried it yet, since my is still cutting well and I haven't nicked any nails or metal bits. When I'll get to that bridge I'll have to cross I guess, alone it seems... Yuval

I passed a piece of wood that I thought was clean and chipped the blade, I was able to change the blades but I had to glue the springs in place to stop them from falling out when installing the blades. There are 22 small springs behind each blade that have nothing hold them in place. @@yuvallahav

Your pipes looks great, but the walnut its a soft wood, they say its not good for making a pipe, why you don’t try with ebony or cherry wood?? They’re cheaper than briar

Hey! Amazing video, but can you teach me more about the reloading part? I did exactly what you did but It just shot all at once. Thank you!
@yuvallahav
@yuvallahav 7 ай бұрын
Did you rememeber to turn the wheel 2 clicks for every rubber band you loaded? You put it on the edge, you pull it over the exposed tooth of the wheel, then turn it back 2 clicks (1 tooth), then load again, turn 2 click (one tooth) load and turn and repeat 5 times over. Sound like you loaded all your bands on a single tooth.

@yuvallahav
@yuvallahav 7 ай бұрын
Mine also didn't come with wax, I think it's because in some countries it is considered a flammable material so they can't ship it. You have no wax at home at all? No simple white candle? no tea light candle? no smelly candle for your bathroom someone once gave you? You can use bacon grease if you don't have anything else, it will work :) Yuval

Hi Yuval! I m a hobbyist turner from South Turkey, and I have a small workshop with the same lathe,I thought you were working at my place! Joke aside the knot is fabulous ,look like a logo ! Good luck!
@yuvallahav
@yuvallahav 9 ай бұрын
Thanks Pierre! Yeah, you can see this type of lathe pops up everywhere, you can order them directly from the Chinese factory with any colore scheme you like and just staple some logo on it and call it your own. The good part is that you can get parts from it from almost every "manufacturer" since they are basically the same machine. When my reeves drive pullies got worn down I was able to get a new set of pullies sent to me from Axminster in the UK and it fit perfectly.

I'm concerned about buying Vevor, I emailed Vevor about parts for a range hood insert and was told that they warranty their products but don't have parts. I suspect Vevor products are disposable and not repairable.

thank you so much, I have been wondering how his pieces were made... two questions. How are you holding the box portion on the lathe? I didn't see where you reversed it... second question... what would go IN the box?

Hey. Really hoping you see this comment. I orcered this from the us and due to customs policy in International shipping, they didnt include the wax. 3 minutes into your video, i can see youre using something. Is that the wax? And is it mandatory for this project?
@yuvallahav
@yuvallahav Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I didn't get the wax as well, only I didn't know it was because of shipping issues... I used a normal tea light candle wax, any wax will work, it's not a must but it sure would help the working of the gun, it acts like a dry lubricant.

@yuvallahav wow. Wicked fast response for a 3 yr old vid. So did you just melt some regular candle wax? Seriously dude. Thanks for the response. I can't wait to put this on my pc desk on display!
@yuvallahav
@yuvallahav Жыл бұрын
@@hueyt224 I got the comment notification over my morning coffee, so I just got in to answer, I don't normally respond so quickly... I just picked up a piece of wax and rubbed it against the wood, the wood is rough enough to friction melt some of the wax and leave it on the wood, it's all the lubrication it will need for a lifetime.

Why does everyone take the sticker off, lol. Just slice it with a razor blade along the groove beneath it. Idk I'm just OCD Plus I know the secret. For some reason the people that take care of their Dremel, like cleaning it and following through with maintenance are the ones who always have problems. I've learned in a tortuous way ( because I'm OCD) the Dremel's that run perfect for three to five years with out even replacing the bushings are the ones that are dirty a.f. Something's to be said about the creative process of the filthy work station. 🤷🏻‍♂️idk
