I am aware that I misspelled Octopus in the cast credits. It's something I'll correct if I decide to do another Spider-Man Retrospective Review series in the future, but I'm not going to take this video down just for that one spelling mistake. It's difficult enough to get views on YT these days. If there had been gaping gaps in dialogue or poor editing, then yes, absolutely. I would take it down to correct it. But for something as harmless and minute as that? Not worth it. Just being objective.

I saw this movie a few months ago for the first time. I'm admittedly not a fan of marvel movies but I do like Spider-Man. I'm not sure how most people feel but I was utterly bored throughout most of it. I thought it was actually pretty bad.

It didn't have the same appeal as Homecoming, and as I mentioned in the review, it felt like a weird place to end Phase 2 just after "End Game"

The way Thor was presented in this movie was completely different from the comics and the cartoons. Didn't like it. Too comical.

Interesting. I remember seeing this on itv in the 60's. I didn't realise, until just now, that Agent X20 looks like Parker. Anyway, I never really liked the show. Mainly because the primary events of the whole show were shown at the beginning, which meant you'd already seen the end, so watching the whole episode was utterly pointless. Still, it had its uses. I could watch the intro, get the gist, then turn the telly off and go out to play, giving myself an extra 20 minutes of playtime.

I always hated this movie. There’s no problem with David Banner dying for the greater good, but the stakes in this film felt too small for such an enormous sacrifice. Knowing Bill Bixby wouldn’t live much longer, I would have preferred Bixby just let the series end on a more ambiguous note that “David Banner is still out there” than such a lame death. I wish he would have been more critical of the writing. But it really isn’t Bixby’s fault, he just wanted to make a finale for a character he cared about.

He wasn’t supposed to be dead. It was purposely left open-ended. There was supposed to be a 4th movie, where he survived but was unable to change back to David. And he was going to be able to speak.

Shuji Utsumi (CSO of Sega of Japan) has been appointed as the CEO of Sega of America and Europe (effective from April 1, 2024), which means that the Freedom Fighters will never appear in Sonic media again.

Honest curious question: what exactly does Sega of Japan have against these characters?
@FastFuriousFan-il8lr
@FastFuriousFan-il8lr 4 ай бұрын
@@TheMJKnight Sega of Japan has a strong dislike for the western canon characters and elements, including the Freedom Fighters, not to mention that the Freedom Fighters are not Sega’s creation, so they don’t have any reason to care about them. Additionally, the characters are very grounded to a specific place with a different Eggman and are a lot of characters to introduce in one game in a series that is primarily about fast-paced adventure. It’s also worth noting that the Sonic franchise and Sega as a company were run differently back in the early 90s. Sega of Japan saw Sonic as a game franchise, while Sega of America saw it as a multimedia franchise, so they pushed Sonic into TV, comics and other printed media. Thus, the Freedom Fighters were the brainchild of Sega of America and Sega of America and Sega of Japan didn’t really get along all that much.

@@FastFuriousFan-il8lr now it's starting to make sense. It's kind of 'They've introduced characters and elements into our franchise, we didn't invent them and we don't like it so we want them phased out" Am I wrong?

I agree with much of what you said. I did think it was trying to be three (if not four) different movies all crammed into one, and there is entirely too much going on. But I still found it entertaining. Ben Affleck was unexpectedly awesome as the older, grizzled Batman.

I hated this movie because they made hulk die, I loved the hulk tv series and it made no sense hulk dying from a fall that wasnt too high. There was an episode where banner was thrown from a plane with broken parachute and he changed as he crashed to the ground and survived. I read that this wasnt supposed be the ending of hulk. Bill bixby planned to make a sequel and possibly she hulk
@classic1971

The parachute was shot off of Banner just before he hit the shed transforming into the Hulk. That is a big difference than falling a long way after being blown out of a plane like they did in this movie.

This is the last time I'm re-uploading this. The only reason I edit this last edit was because I had misspelled 'Related' and left out the word 'Characters' when leaving the Credit of 'Sonic & Related Characters are Trademarks of Sega'. Now, some may consider that, unnecessary. I respect that point of view, but I consider myself to not miss the small details, it would be something that would bother me. Apologies in full if inconvenience was caused.

BvS wasnt a TDKR adaptation, nor It was meant to be one, It only was inspired by It. But the stories are different. 5:11 clark doesnt threat to kill him tho... that seems like a stretch. Thats why Superman says "the Bat", the symbol in the sky. Which...still would trigger this corrupted Bruce. Also Superman does Not participate in vigilantism. He doesnt go around taking or torturing criminals for information, BvS Clark is More like a Powerful rescuer. Maybe you could say...hey he's rescuing people Without a licence. But thats what Superman does. (Also Batman doesnt say "i dont know her", he say "I thought she (this Woman i know) was With you". I mean ..dude .. ..en... You saw what happened , two humanlike supepowered Beings With Lightpowers just arrived From the sky helping in the same place. Its Not a stretch to think they could be connected. (If they dont already know each other) 🤷 didnt thought It was confusing once you think about it.

the "when they cry" quote is pretentious horseshit said by edgelord's with no life, no real friends, no girlfriend or boyfriend, no nothing, i am so beyond fed up with nihilistic cynical arsehole's preaching shit like that, you see it in films, adult cartoons, and ANIME for christ sake, that quote is the reason i will never watch that anime because if everyone is shit and everything is trauma and torture then why do we even live then? love is real and there is some good in the world even know the world is messed up, real friends are real too, coming from someone who had no friends at school.

The Freedom Fighters won't appear in IDW's comics cuz they're not compatible with the IDW comics and the thing (and it's a big thing) about the Freedom Fighters is that their original purpose was to give Sonic a supporting cast to work with, back in 1993, Sonic didn't have a ton of friends yet, so the SatAM showrunners had to fill in the gaps, but now of course, Sonic already has an official supporting cast and a significant one too, if they reintroduce all the Freedom Fighters in the IDW series, they'll have to either repurpose them in a different way or risk bloating the already large recurring cast, if the Freedom Fighters return somehow, their place in the story and relation to Sonic will no doubt be different, the question is "how?", also not to mention that Sega of Japan has no interest in the Freedom Fighters (IDW's comics are being translated by Sega of Japan for Japanese audiences) and it's likely that they'll be considered off-limits in the IDW comics, plus having the Freedom Fighters appear in IDW's comics will just turn IDW's comics into the Archie reboot and that surely won't make IDW's comics any enjoyable if that happened, IDW's comics are better off without them, the Freedom Fighters are also property of Archie Comics and DiC Entertainment.
