So this guy said something nice and now is getting overwhelmed by praise and gifts. Sure he was nice and I respect that. What makes me sad is all the people doing good deeds like volunteering in homeless shelters, animal shelters, fire brigades, visit sick and the elderly, rescue animals…. There are millions and they get no praise. You don’t need TV to shove good people into your face. Just open your eyes. And thank them!

The isolation that you feel after having a newborn can be overwhelming and render you powerless, so every thought, kind words, actions definitely helps.

I think the full time job at the end of the holiday season is the greatest gift. Most holiday hires spend that whole time terrified if they will be kept or not
