Steroid era was the best thing to happen to baseball. So sick of the boomers and their phony outrage. Mac Sammy Clemens and Bonds should be in the HOF.

I don't know what we should have expected from our offense. Are we strong? No. Are we fast? No. Are we high Bat Avg? No. Our offense has no identity so how can we score runs? By getting 3 or 4 hits/walks in a row. This is the opposite of an optimized team.

Well, Winn pitched great for 5 innings…. And then it happened again… we didn’t Win with Winn. He got his wish, was left in to face more batters, and lost our lead. Giants weren’t able to recover it, and despite a great beginning, we lost again. A sad story.

"Donnie Baseball" Don Mattingly! If he didn't hurt his back I truly believe Mattingly would've been an easy first ballot HOFer. Even with an injury shortened career he still had a decade of absolute dominance. That dominance translated to both hitting and fielding. I don't understand how he's still not in the HOF. Last hut not least everyone linked to PEDs with HOF careers. Throughout baseball history players have been looking for and edge. Steroids had been in baseball long before the 90's. Before juice players were using greenies ( amphetamines ) to keep going. The only players we're keeping out though are the ones from the 90's on. The guys who saved baseball (some reward). Guys like Bonds and Clemens should get in just bc they were HOFers before the juice. I believe Arod also falls into this class. He was putting up monster numbers before he went to Texas. I'm sure there's a few I'm missing, but that'll do pig that'll do 😂😂😂😂😂 a little Babe reference there

Fans need to picket Oracle Park with signs that say "Hire Chili Davis as new hitting coach." I really think the hitters need an old school approach. Get back to fundamentals and the organic aspects of hitting, and peel back some of the analytics for a while. Teams seem to go too heavy on analytics these days.

I would have gone with Frank White instead of Quiz for the Royals. HOF voters always get pissy when people say Bill Mazeroski got in for one swing of the bat and say his career warranted it. White’s statistics, gold gloves, all star nods, etc, are basically identical. And while he doesn’t have as big a moment, his overall postseason play was better.

Craig Nettles was a terrific player in the field I would have taken on my team anytime. Same goes for Doug DeSinces who killed a potential Angel's rally in the 1979 ALCS in game 4 with a terrific play . If memory serves me correctly, I think it was even a double play that he started.

As an Expos fan , Steve Rogers and Rusty Staub " le Grand Orange" are two names that are rightfully on that list in my mind. It's a shame that Rogers was mainly remembered for the home run he gave up to Rick Monday in the 1981 NLCS that put the Dodgers in the World Series. You were SPOT ON in mentioning the lack of run support he suffered from in a lot of games he pitched in for a number of years.

I might be on board for the bunting to break up a no hitter. That is weak as fuck. A lot of these rules are like crybaby stuff, but this one is you suck so bad and can’t get a hit, you’re getting dominated, so let me try to get cute and spoil their dominant performance with a gimmick. I personally just find it weak but to each his own

I can see it being considered "Sissy" for someone to get mad if the other team bunts to break up a no-hitter in a close game but I'm sorry if your team is being no-hit and your down more than like 2 or 3 runs surprise bunting for a hit isn't cool and should piss some people off. But a close game no-hitter or not your job is to try and help your team win. I promise you this 99.9% of pitchers will get pissed if a guy bunts to beak it up when they're down more than a couple runs. I do think he is missing an important point when talking about throwing at batters and how weird it would be if it happened in other sports but that's the thing, similar things happen in all sports it just so happens baseball is unique in that the 2 teams aren't all on the same field at the same time. In football their are tough blocks and hard hits when pissed and making a point. Basketball has guys showing their displeasure by fouling the guy really hard and of course hockey is just a free-for-all. Baseball actually is no different it's just the opportunities are different and the means with which they do it are different but the end result is actually the same.

Love the idea but have a problem with the first intro video. I'm not sure you could pick much worse of an example. That Carlos Gomez was insane and had to be addressed he literally while barely jogging was pointing and yelling at the pitcher all the way around the bases. Not to mention it was Carlos Gomez! You would be hard pressed to find a player in history who pissed off more people in such a inconsequential career. I love what Freddie Freeman did that time. Yes baseball has some overly sensitive ideas but that wasn't one of them. It would have been insane to stand there while he talked shit to your pitcher right way around the bags. Yeah Freddie yelling at him and telling him to get moving was great but where this stands out most is the catcher Brian McCann walked out and blocked the plate and said nope not happening! Gomez to this day still never touched homeplate lol. One more thing...can you imagine what that pitcher felt inside when Stanton starting walking towards him? lol

You blew the call on the 1975 world series bunt call. Larry Barnett made the correct call and MLB backed him up on it. The pine tar incident with George Brett wouldn't have been an issue if MLB had done the right thing and banned the use of pine tar. It isn't necessary to help you with your grip on the bat. I had a team mate tell me I needed to put some on my bat. I told him no, he tried to put it on my bat anyway. I grabbed his arm a shoved the tar soak rag in his face. He refused to play the rest of the season. We went on a winning streak after that game and played for the league championship which we won. I never like pine tar, I found it way to messy and didn't need it to improve my grip on the bat. I have always believed it should be banned.

The only person to blame in that first clip is the shortstop. Not even because of the bobble, the runner at second was right there! Why did he not touch him and then the bag for a much easier double play. What was he thinking?

Ohvyes. I can see what the city fathers pictured in their minds what wondrous things they could do if only they could demolish the rediculous ball park that blights up the area. Yep. You city fathers can rightly stick out your chests with pride for the magnificent land transformation you made out of a lousy ballpark. Such innovation that will provide the citizens enriched cultural contributions to the city. NOT! You dunderheads

LMAO... if u believe there is no collusion from MLB then youre the fan that believed McGwire and Sosa were legit during all that bs! All a GM has to do is sit down with TB, lay it all out: no vlogs no bs, just pitch contractually and its done. Immediately makes your pitching staff a force. Fans comeback... so sick of MLB and its owners and the damage they do to baseball. Allowing roids, lowering the pitching mound, shrinking the strikezone etc... all in the name to see more homeruns bcus they believe thats what fans want... we dont. we want u to stop fookn with the game.
