I find it funny how big the box is, also, my scaletrains non articulated autorack suggests a minimum of 24” but I ran it on 18” lol

I’m an old school DC guy. Consequently, my stock is of higher quality & lower price. For $50-$90 each, I have 3 Proto 2000 locomotives, 2 Atlas/Katos, 3 Stewart/Katos, all NOS in their original boxes I’ve picked up off EBay in the past few months….. just sayin’

Ah cool, forgotten about walthers.As a kid growing up in Port Huron area those cars were everywhere in various staging yards and spurs. Sadly not many left anymore in that livery. All repainted

Woodland scenics always made cool stuff, these are no different. They are very cool! I would like to add some trailer homes to my o scale at some point, and now that I've seen yours it gives me something to think about. Love your layout by the way!

cool freighter! i'm fortunate my layout is in the house and we have a cat on the prowl :D
@KevinsTrainsGLE3 ай бұрын
The N scale layout is at our summer place in northern MI and there is no basement. The rodents seem to favor certain items on the layout. I put those in the plastic bin and the mice seem to leave the layout alone now. Freighter is a Sylvan resin kit

It's 2 years after you posted this video, and I just ordered a couple of these auto racks, largely based on your review. I have 27" minimum radius. I liked the idea of what effectively are 2 shorter auto racks than the big 86 foot single car ones that would hang way over on the curves. Currently on sale at Yankee Dabbler for $54.99, which seemed like a good deal.
@KevinsTrainsGLE3 ай бұрын
That does sound like a good deal. I'm glad my review helped you out. Glad to hear that ☺️. You shouldn't have any trouble with these on 27in curves.

Hey Kevin! Nice video. I really like those ex RailAmerica HESR units. I have a cool video idea you could do. You should run all your trains in one video but make it a protypical operating session. So you could do HESR job 702 interchanging with your LSRC switchers like they do in Genesee yard in Saginaw
