Great tutorial. I had to dig the dirt out of the hole and where the Stihl nut is located. Used the Stihl tools that came with my Kombi. Took about 2 minutes to change. Thanks a lot!

You don’t have to purge air out of the system? I just picked up a John Deere stander that’s the same platform as this and I want to change the hydro oil but I’m not sure if or how to purge air out of the system

i guess if your just replacing whats in the tank you dont need to bleed the system
@LuxAudio389

@@dinokarakostas4246Yes you do need to purge the air out of the system. Once the hydro filter comes off or if you drain the reservoir completely, air makes its way in.

All you have to do is angle the blade edger i dont understand what you mean the concrete is in the way all you have to do is walk on the grass and angle it a little bit and it will gi e you a better edge

Jason, lighten up!!! OK, so I checked it out --- $60!!! Really? Problems: What stops the nylon whips from just continuously spooling out? I sometimes like to see exactly what I'm trimming along flower beds --- this metal plate obscures the precise cutting path. So, we're paying $60 for a guide for sidewalk edging, and in return we're hobbling our trimmer.

What string do you use I have one of these was not practical because it broke to much string also you are s'pose to use it to have it behind you on a sidewalk so as not to kick up debris in your face. Market is so competitive no one even uses stick edger to slow. If you use a gas driven edger it's an extra charge and an extra job usually best to just master a trimmer saves time.edgit does an excellent job if it didn't use up all your string

Awesome kit. I have a couple. I dont use the cups tho. Nalgene makes a bottle that will fit in this pot. 32oz and it's tapered so it will fit this kit. This kit is as close as you can get to bullet proof. Now, I do have Gucci cooksets. But... this is the kit to get. Best bang for the buck. Solid.
