The Devon coast is quite rough and unwelcoming and Cornwall council is in my town. Always put off by that alone.

Where is your town? And you know St Mawes is in Cornwall right?
@markdunbar821910 күн бұрын
How much does it cost to park there 🤔 I’d guess around just under £5 for 3 hrs just like most of cornwalls car parks 🧐
@LifeofJoeJordan10 күн бұрын
All day parking in St Mawes is around £6 for 24hrs but you can get around the Roseland by ferry which is fun!

Total waste of time. Doubt if these people spent more than half a day at Coniston. Not one view or comment about the village. Dreadful.

@@LifeofJoeJordan What did you do during the days?

Explored the village, went walking, ate out, went segwaying and explored the beautiful lake, we have many videos on the Lake District and Cumbria this is just one :)
@55north1717 күн бұрын
@@LifeofJoeJordan No pictures of village, no pictures looking down from elevation, no mention of the railway walk, the follies, the cottages, transport, Walna Scar ..... know Coniston (and whole of Lakes like back of my hand). When you were there you had your eyes shut and your camera focused on sheep struggling to fell walk. If your going to do it then research and know what you are talking about. My first climb of Old Man, Helvelyn, Scar Fell and Gable - 1956. How long did it take you to walk up Old Man via which route?

It's unrealistic for under 30's to expect to own a house in a low wage holiday area unless privileged. You have to develop valuable skills when young and maybe move in order to accumulate the money to buy before 30years of age. It's unfortunate but it's what those of us starting with no capital have always had to do. No PPE degrees please. Get a stem degree and start fairly low down and you WILL have your house by 30.
