I noticed that some sort of silver bar flew off of the truck, and that yellow springy thingy snapped in two. The front two tires manually rotated to a 90 degree angle. There were also some faint booming noises heard upon impact! I also saw some sort of cotter-pin thing fly off too, and some smoke springing out upon contact too. And I think part of the front chassis was snapped too

The silver bars were 4-links and the yellow springy thing isn't a spring but it's a solid cage that goes around the drivershaft. The limit straps are also yellow and could've snapped though

Dalton had very quickly become one hell of a driver. In his rookie year he took the Toughest Monster Truck Tour championship, then he held his own all first quarter against Weston Anderson and Armando Castro, and then all summer long he's been kicking butt all over the place whether it's a small town show near your shop in Utah or way out and the Charlotte back to school bash. I got to see him earlier in March and I'm very proud to see how good he has been doing

Reminded me of his backflip from here in Glendale last year! Almost identical saves although I’ll say his New Orleans save was definitely cooler. Hope David can get on a stadium series, he has clearly shown that he deserves that spot the most from TTM ever since his first show in a full size field in Salinas last year. His runs have gotten better at every single stadium show, with the exceptions of his tough breaks towards the end of last year which were just due to the truck’s breakage
