I bet in direct sun that black car is smoking hot does the wax stay on or does it melt off, i think they mix in some clay powder into the wax thats why it looks so good on the car because when you buff it off with the towel it dries out all the oils and its like you did a clay bar cleaning on your car its so good the results speak for themselves it looks fabulous

I bought a Milwaukee 21mm cordless polisher not knowing that I would have been better off buying the 15 as I am fairly new to polishing.. Would you recommend selling the 21 and take the loss, or can I get better results replacing the 6 inch with a 5 inch backing plate?

It can be done but if you keep your hands moving and use common sense then you will be fine. You would have to sit in one spot for a very long time to burn through.

You know, that’s the reason why I like your channel so much I agree with you. You don’t have to have shaving cream type of foam and that’s what the so-called haters will always say the phone you’re producing with the Griots Garage Is exactly the phone I always produce thank you for always keeping it real and would great videos you do

As a big fan of Griot's Garage, I am surprised they have a huge "miss" on this one. No thanks. And correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the cost penalty for convenience is quite steep too.

The soap is great and always has been but the pods are more for convenience than anything else.
@v8tergt6533 күн бұрын
I agree, They should’ve made the pod a little bigger so you only need one per foam cannon

You want thick shaving cream, takes longer to drop down and gives you more time before the soap dries on the surface , just my personal experience using runny soap like this vs thick shaving cream type.
@FABAutomotiveDetailing3 күн бұрын
We all have a preference of what we like and that’s ok. I just wash as fast as I can so runny soap works better for me.
@v8tergt6533 күн бұрын
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing honestly ph neutral soap alone doesn’t do anything at all than just lubricate the surface. So foam the car, use a pressure washer to rinse off as much as possible and the foam only help to avoid scratches, than foam again and use a good microfiber towel or mitt with the 2 bucket method. Ive done it a few times, rinse before without soap and with foam and theres 0 difference of how clean the surface gets without agitation. I use a touchless system by Chem-X and 9-10 cars it gets it nicely clean for a maintenance wash and passes the finger scrubbing test , also I use a deionized water filter so rinse off the last process and air dry and just dry with a towel the few spots where it drips down . By far the fastest method. I can finish a big 3 row Suv in 15min start to finish having everything set up already.

The way it reads to me was to fill with water, add 2 pods allow the 2/3 mins to dissolve then attach top.... 🤷🏻♀️...
@FABAutomotiveDetailing2 күн бұрын
@@KatrinaTrys Maybe so but the pods were in the water for atleast 30 minutes so I would have thought they would have dissolved even with the lid on. 🤷

Brian, thanks for the video. In my experience, when a company changes the packaging or how they distribute the product, you will be paying more? For companies, it is all about the bottom line. I prefer to measure my own products.

youve probably already heard this, but the easiest thing would be to just pop the little pods and squirt the soap into the foam cannon. that way you kill all risk of getting that plastic jammed up in your cannon.

Yes that would definitely work but for a proper review I wanted to do it the way they say to in the directions. Thanks for watching

Great demo. I think Mrs FAB is on to something lol. I think Griot's should put a suggestion of using hot water to help dissolve them. I think it would work better and less risk of getting anything in the pickup tube. Just my opinion on it. Thank you for doing this. The culture needs FAB.
