I honestly would not recommend this guitar case. Just from experience it has no protection on the edges. DO not use the backpack straps my guitar fell out and just cracked in the concrete. For 100 bucks!?!? It’s insane. Get a hardcase

I switched the pickups out for a set of EMGs and the bridge for a FR original, and have a pretty fantastic sounding guitar

What a ripoff..Shame on Jackson for selling such a piece of💩 I ordered the just gator two multifit gigbags and they're a piece of 💩 as well. My firebirds V's and even my Dean Dime O flame fits , but about the only protection it really offers is against scratches and keeping dust off. They're not going to provide much protection from any structural damage nor dings and dents from bumps during loading and unloading your guitar.They are super thin and extremely flimsy. They offer no support for the neck nor headstock and very little protection for the body.The zippers feel like they may blow out before long. Most gig bags are merely a dust cover and a scratch guard.Just save your money and buy a hardshell case and don't let anyone ever convince you a gig bag is anywhere near adequate protection for your guitar. Okay, My Taylor came with a decent gig bag and I have one other gig bag out of twenty different brands of gig bags that is somewhat sturdy, but most gig bags are merely a step above a heavy duty trash bag The 💩hitty zippers on gigbags are a total 💩show too, wtf?🤨

Literally every single Jackson guitar I've bought in the last 3 years (4 guitars) iv3 sent back. The QC is awful.

Yeah It's a pretty crap bag considering the price and the fact it's an official product. Mine's begun tearing at the horn. After a few years, I've given in and paid for the official hardcase. It might be alright to keep the soft bag when car space is limited, otherwise I can't really recommend it either, especially at that price.

Jackson aren’t what they were. For me, if you want a good Jackson at a sensible price, find a used 90’s Japanese model. Can’t go wrong.

Is the floyd good?

The gold hard stop tail piece and the pickguard touch. The pictures on the jackson website show it not touching. I was going to buy a used one that had this as well and now i'm trying to see if it is a standard thing for these models. apparently it is.. and I really don't like it! i'm so damn picky! lol.

I play mostly Fenders one with humbuckers, I do have a Jackson and I do like the fast necks but mine has that Jackson version of a FR which is a pain in the butt. If I was in the market for a new Jackson it would be one without their FR. Anyway that thing looks like a rock machine enjoy it.

Jacksons are now owned by Fender, same as Charvels. Seems like Jacksons and Charvels have been having a lot of QC issues over the last few years. Re neck shim - these can be removed without even removing the strings. I've had something similar on my brand new Ibanez Prestige - came with a few shims preinstalled, so I just removed some of them (they can be different thickness), now the action is spot on. I'm guessing sometimes they "overdo" with shims at the factory so that owners could then remove the shims and adjust to their liking... or, like I said - could be just poor QC at the factory...

China quality is only as good as Jackson wants to pay for it being, for the price point jackson wants the factories to pump these out asap and hire lower paid labor among the chinese factory workers. Some small china factories put out incredible product

I just sent back a red Jackson RRX24 (with black bevels) that costed me 900 bucks, and it had some details: a little piece of the body was cracking right near the neck pickup, the cover for the bridge was dented, some parts of the guitar's paint were weird, the frets looked like they were repositioned, but not carefully enough, it seemed like the wood was slightly damaged. A big bummer since it was my first Jackson guitar, I'm looking for some other brands and saw a snow white RRX24, but I fear it'll have the same issues.

Wow! I'm glad I just happened upon this video. I had been trying to get ahold of someone (anyone) at Jackson for a few months. It wasn't a huge rush, so I would periodically look online for some contact info. I ended up finding an email for Jackson. Someone did get right back to me. But just like another person wrote here, they don't care. Thus, I never got a follow up email. It's a cool looking guitar--a Rhoads V, black with the green (same color as the guitar in this post) pinstripes/bevel. It's playable, and I have played the hell out of it the past few months. I just didn't want the hassle of returning a guitar, and who knows how long they would have it... or if it would be any better. And it is just so cool. The neck feels great, and the active pickups sound pretty awesome. I was able to fix what needed to be fixed to make it more reliable for some upcoming gigs I had. But still can't find a way to make the tuning more stable. Now I'm just not using the bar as much. Which sucks, since I live getting gnarly with the Floyd. My $300 Dinky I got last year was built better, and the 'Jackson' Floyd was much better. The main thing I found very strange with this $1000 dollar Rhoads V, besides the bar not staying firm and having to constantly turn the nut tighter, was that the volume knob was in the middle position. And the Volume for the neck pickup was in that top position. As most people that are buying a V like that are using the bridge pick up 90% of the time, I don't know why they put it in such an awkward spot to quickly get to. Plus, the top volume knob was loose upon. So, I took it in to my local guitar shop and had them rewire the knobs so that the top knob was in the normal volume knob position. I don't know if that was a mistake, but I have never seen a guitar with the main/top volume knob dedicated to the neck pickup. The Floyd licensed bridge on the V is terrible. The fine tuners are very hard to turn... even after lubing up all moving parts, and wherever the string comes in contact with the bridge--like what would normally be done on a Strat style, not a Floyd. Or maybe I am just spoiled. I still have my 1984 Kramer Striker, with the really early Floyds, still made in Germany with the old serial numbers on the block. I never have to tune that thing. Lastly, a couple of the saddles were loose. Which I didn't notice until our first rehearsal when the G string made a popping sound and dropped a few steps. Then I had to intonate it and tighten the hell out of every screw on that bridge. I've never had to do so much work on a new guitar before. I guess these days, even a thousand dollar Jackson is not all that great.

I had to run in with Jackson earlier this year. I received a guitar that I did not order which was a cheaper version than what I ordered. and I got the run around from one of the management people He was not very professional. The box was labeled what I ordered but what was on the inside of it was not what I ordered. So be careful I will not be purchasing any more guitars from Jackson My last....
