Ywgwie doesn’t ever practice, he just grabs a guitar then hits record, & confidently steps up to the plate ready to go & composes in real time by preforming long form recitals to impress himself, & the hottest parts later get condensed into songs created by confidently cutting & remixing things up fresh, in the moment & resending it back out hot as possibly, by playing focused at the height of his very best technical guitar abilities, to fuse hard rock to long form classical music type progressions, very likely in a manner similar to the approach to the creation of Miles Davis’s quintessential jazz rock fusion album, Bitches Brew. The sessions of which got created over the period of over three days & nights, of constant jamming where all the various virtuoso musicians were all locked together into the studio to catch what came out during an endless marathon recording session, where the musicians likely took drugs, bathroom breaks & meals, in the studio until they separately got exhausted & took random naps on cots in the studio, in cycles & when they woke up, they got right back to the endless jamming, hopping back into the mix like jump rope, not knowing if it was even day or night, after which all the hottest parts & takes got chopped up, rearranged & boiled down by a composer into a hour & half long album and presented back to the band to forever play in this freshly rearranged new reformulation. In the spirit in this type manner of improvisation Ywgwie doesn’t ever really practice per say, he just spreads his wings levitates and goes for broke, hit or miss, reaching for the highest levels he can achieve while playing for up to 10 hours a day to stay ready by exclusively working to focus on sending it out fresher & hotter by always reaching for the best possible resolutions to progressions through exclusively improvising, intending to step it up continuously, he doesn’t really practice in the regular sense he only intends to swing for the fences by preforming confidently to either hit a grand slam knocking it out the park or end up in a spectacular train wreck & brings it all out evermore increasingly, playing only in the moment to impress himself, in keeping ready to take over when it really counts, in the spotlight at the biggest shows, in a similar manner to the way the MVP basketball player Allen Iverson infamously & derisively referred to Practice?…Practice!…We’re talking about practice?…LoL…🎸🍩

I say Michael Romeo all day. I find his music more interesting and less discordant. Shaun Lane is amazing but I'd rather listen to Michael Romeo doing some sweet neo classical over some good rhythms. If you're a Jazz fan you probably appreciate Lane more.
