I got to say, the potential of this cart is awesome. ... ive been debating whether to use this cart idea ever since, I saw the other video and yours. ... i dont know if i want to use this cart for a diagnostic cart or a light service cart. The possibility for hiding a couple of thousand dollars of electrical automotive equipment in a shop and wondering, prying eyes to keep my investment safe. How do you like it? Has it, better your life in business? What advise can you share on the storage capacity. Is it still practical to build it like you did or am i better off with the new model that just came out?

Thank You for the video! I've had my Ariens IKON XD for about 3 weeks. I have ordered the front led light bar from Amazon and it will be here on Tuesday. I'm not to experienced in wiring. I assume you just add to the wires that come with the light kit and run them to the two existing wires Black/Purple at the fuse box. Is that correct? What about a relay? I like the two back lights that you added. If I can get the light kit installed correctly, I might try and tackle adding some of those too.

The mower is pre wired for a light kit. I have had no issues, as a matter of fact I bought two more small flood lights last week to mount over the front casters.

I bought 2 and stacked them but I didn't chop the bottom box I left it full but cut slots in the bottom of the top box for the tabs to fit in. This way the top box DOES lock the bottom box when lid is closed.

I like it but couldnt you just get the 26"x22" chest for $100less basically? Not exactly the same but same footprint. Your setup might have more actual storage space.

I don't have much choice. During the summer it is 90+ degrees until 7:30pm. I don't mow wet grass, so mornings are out. I have 3 acres to mow and there are a lot of trees/shrubs to mow around. I also have some slopes to mow. Zero turns don't do slopes well. You have to go up and then back it down, many many times. It takes me about 3 hours on my new Ariens XD 52". I don't usually have time to finish in one mow. I have to finish another evening. That is my reason for wanting/needing to mow after dark. With a light kit I'm hoping I can finish it all in one mow.

I like the idea and creativity! I would prefer drawers that run along the width in the bottom half, but they make some like that. Thanks for sharing 👍

@@seangommier6840 if you don't cut it down and cut two openings in the bottom box for the lock bars to depress. They will lock both boxes from the top...
