That's what I love about retro games. Back then, I think, games were more differentiated and often did't fit into one of three or four popular genres.

Me, not so much. I had problems with the English language as a teenager (I don't think a German version was ever made?) and geography wasn't my best subject either.

Wow, he had an ST AND an Amiga? I remember almost buying an ST instead of an Amiga until my neighbour revealed to me that the Amiga emulates the ST quite smoothly. I should actually make a video about that. Maybe Ballerburg in the ST emulator on the Amiga (in the Amiga emulator)? Sounds fun. We once had a similar bug in the original Bundesliga Manager. The Ghandi nuclear weapons bug in the original Civilization also worked in a similar way (Ghandi was extremely positive towards you and if you improved the relationship further, the value overflowed and he was at maximum negative and bang - nuclear war).

@@obsoletevideogames That bug never existed, it was just an internet troll who made it up. Sid Meier wrote about that in his autobiography. The fact was that Gandhi just used the same dialogue as all other leaders. And if he had nukes - which India had earlier due to going for science - he would announce that in order to prevent war. And then, of course, if India went to war, Gandhi used them.

Thank you so much! Yeah, Cinemaware's classic games were most impressive although lacking gameplay. My "Wings!" LP is already in the making but that game is just endless.

Honestly, there are better EcoSims on the Amiga. But the nostalgia level is over 9000!

According to Wikipedia there was. Remember though that at the time this was released, Amiga versions were usually superior. I used the FS-UAE emulator and had no problems with crashes. Same on my Amiga 500

Also no crashes here on Winuae and on real Hardware. There is an english and german Whd Load version out there and it seems to run rock stable (at least here). Hope that helps. There are also .adf versions and I guess they work fine too.

With an emulator (and a relaxed view of copyright issues when it comes to ancient games that don't make any money anymore anyway) you can play it.

I played on an emulator as well. I have a usb competition pro which I use when playing in an emulator.
