its kinda ironic that all these tracks were made by a guy who didnt even like electronic and had probably never been to a 'rave' before in his life haha

i wish online gaming existed at the time because I rocked this. I remember mastering that sharp ass hair pin turn on the final track. I loved this game.

i love how the draw distance is really short to avoid overwhelming the graphic's card... but yeah... 1984 here... was more into RPGs, even today but thanks to wipeout and destruction derby too i became both a electronic music fan and a pathological metalhead respectively

Wrong... Every single song in this video is by CoLD SToRAGE... ... Chemical brothers, still dust brothers at the time Wipeout was release in 95, only did one song called chemical beats and that was *only* in the European PlayStation version released in 97 which compared to any of these songs on the first version is absolute dust, pun intended... CoLD SToRAGE, remember the name... EDIT: Chemical brothers did some songs for WipeOut 2097 and personally its not my cup of tea...

I played the sequel, WipeOut 2097, so much! One of the few games you felt like you were going the speed it said you were! Just a slight shame it got so hard - could never play half the game because I could not get good enough,. Wonderful soundtrack, though.

I recall my parents getting this game for me when I was younger. Though I didn’t even make it past the first map, since this was before I actually felt comfortable with video games and knew how to play them. 😅

Incredible this game is a work of art I’ve been playing this game for at least one hour every day since it released back in 2011. The pop sound effects are music to my ears and the sound track is a masterpiece as well I can’t fall asleep without it. I own 157 copies of this game. I will not be buried without them.

0:12 "You wanna know the story of good ol' Winnie Bear's party time? Well, it begins with an alien getting his nose out and having private time with the floor." I know I already made this comment in another video, but this is obviously made to reference the quote from "The Horrifying World of PS1 Games for Babies" video by Caddicarus where he refers the green anthropomorphic hand drill seen in the Doki Denki Studio logo as an alien that spends private time with the floor.
