J'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir malgré la difficulté à trouver le bon son si particulier de Gallup. Bon dimanche mon ami et encore merci 🙏

Cet amour de la musique que nous partageons, et cet amour de la basse que tu as su m'apporter ! Police, comme U2 est issu d'une époque "phare" de l'histoire du rock (avec d'autres bien sur !) ! Mais les années 80 nous ont apporté, une multitude de groupe, qui font ce que je suis aujourd'hui ! Ce sont mes 20 ans (si loin désormais 😉) ! Merci mon ami d'être encore là ! Wow, some early live Police! Nice! Such a good bass line! I love the mix of syncopated quarter notes and the pulsing 8th notes in the chorus. Fantastic job Erwan! So Lonely, So Good!! 😃 Man, that bass line gets tricky under that guitar solo. Two different rhythms happening. Way to stay locked in. Hope all is well with you my friend. Un Sting auteur, mais aussi grand bassiste ! cette magnifique ligne de basse, joué avec son pouce légendaire ! Copeland déjà fantastique, impressionnant de justesse et d'inventivité ! Excellent Erwan!!! That jazz bass sounds killer!!! And what a great version of this tune. I think Andy summer made a few mistakes in his guitar solo which surprised me unless it was intentional but it didn’t take away from this top live version. This bassline is easy but difficult with the timing so you played it brilliant mate! Bravo!!!

Super 👍 Je ne suis pas un grand connaisseur de The Police, elle est sympa cette version live ! Et ta basse se marie parfaitement avec la piste son. La squier à vraiment un son massif, incroyable. Super jeu et quelle rapidité sur les refrains 😉 C'est un plaisir à écouter 👍

I love how this bass line changes from a jazzy bass riff to a straight rhythmic rock bass line. Really great job with this Erwan. Nice soft touch to your playing. And wonderful tone on the Squier Jazz. Thanks for sharing this one. Beautifully done.

Have you seen The Ramones? Have they played France? I saw them in a small club here on Long Island back in the early 90s. What a night.

Bonjour mon ami et merci pour ton gentil commentaire. Je préfère la "precision" ! plus simple d'utilisation. J'ai un peu de mal avec les réglages. Par contre elle est très facile à manipuler. Le manche est fabuleux ! C'est une Squier 40Th (anniversaire) Limited edition.

Quel groove 😎 Comme le dit Thomas, il y a un sacré fossé entre la version studio et l'adaptation en live! C'est avec cette chanson (mais version PopMart) que j'ai appris à jouer aux doigts. Avant j'utilisais toujours un médiator. En tout cas tu nous offres encore une très bonne reprise. C'est fluide et propre, la squier sonne super bien... bravo mon pote 💪

Heureusement que j'ai mes 2 fidèles "Thomas" 😅Je crois que je vais faire une pause ! il semble que U2 ai perdu un peu de son intérêt ou alors je suis vraiment très mauvais ! 😁 Là aussi, ce morceau a surtout pour intérêt d'être l'une des premières versions sur scène et il faut bien l'avouer Adam s'est pas trop cassé la tête ! Il avait sans doute raison ! <il me falloir de retrouver un peu de motivation et surtout une meilleure forme ! A bientôt thomas !

Fantastic job Erwan! Such a good bass line and song. I love how this became a staple of live performances. It's always a highlight in concert. This is such a rhythmic and melodic bass line. And I find it so interesting how the live version has been transposed from the key of E to G. I guess it's easier for Bono to sing. Very smooth and confident playing. Bravo my friend.

Merci Thomas ! Complètement d'accord avec toi ! A 200 % ! Elle est fantastique cette chanson ! Et cette version (la première en live) en est la brillante démonstration ! Sur scène, elle a un potentiel émotionnel énorme ! preuve en est qu'elle toujours présente et à chaque tournée reprise ! C'est sans doute en partie grâce à ce type de morceau que 92 (pour moi) reste la référence ! Une énergie incroyable ! Bono incarne la chanson comme jamais, Edge y est d'une créativité magistrale , Adam a enfin un prof de basse 😆et Larry démontre qu'il est vraiment le "pilier" du groupe ! Je pourrais écrire un livre sur cette année ! 😆 Avec "the fly, "Bullet" et "Love is blindness", ce zootv 92 marque l'entrée du groupe dans l'anthologie. Je suis heureux de partager avec toi ces émotions incomparables ! Encore merci pour tes commentaires toujours affutés et bonne journée mon ami !
