Nothing is truly missable as long as you don't sell the "power-up part" items & you get ending Y before finishing the relevant quest at the very end of your run.

Jump + heavy (short sword in heavy attack slot) while moving into an upwards sloping surface. The game considers you to have touched the floor and resets what movement options you have while you're still in the animation. I have a video on the basics on my channel which goes over stuff like this if you're interested in understanding the movement tech better :)

Jump -> Dash -> Light attack during the dash. Only works with short swords.

I'm super confused about how this thing works. I tested several different wrapons against my brother last night, and I either got wildly inconsistent results or, in some cases, I dealt LESS counter attack damage with the talisman on. For part of the test, I was using weapons that ONLY inflict pierce damage, and there was no discernible effect. I'm so confused. About the standard longsword-do its R2/rolling R1 qualify as counter attacks? I would assume those two attacks influct pierce. After all, the damage types sre listed as standard/pierce. The confusing thing is, despite all my testing, I don't think I manager to get a single boosted counter attack woth any of the weapons used, expect maybe once or twice.

Each swing has its own value assigned, the stuff you see in the ingame menu is just descriptive text really. Its hard to know what counts and what doesn't without testing it yourself. I have no idea if they've tweaked it in PvP too maybe?

Hey, just wanted to let you know but your twitch link in the description spits out "ameiiiââ" for some reason at the end, instead of just "ameiii". The are supposed to be question marks in a box.

Its a bug with youtube, the site changes the link slightly and when it reaches twitch's end it breaks and takes you to the wrong page. Not sure if there is anything I can do to fix it :/

Not sure what level I ended the run. From memory its usually around 75-80? I've done the flooded city arena but i don't have any videos of it. There are a few videos from other people though. We don't do DLC in these 100% runs.

btw its for all thrust weapons , doesnt depent on pierce attack as the weapons say. a mace is no pierce weapon but its able to do that counter. what i dont understand is why doesnt he have a animation for the counter ??? it should be a lile like parry. a step back and than attack with a animation is it for me
