Love a brutal review because I watch to know which to buy! I bumped into your review about a week after I came to the same conclusion. I am super pale and cool toned, using the lightest shades of foundation. I tried Laura Mercier in Rose Gold and Au Naturel and returned them. You were right and they didn’t even work on my pale skin. I saw some reviews afterwards that said the formula seems to have changed for the worse. All I wanted was something to scribble and blend to neutralize blue and red veins since my skin is also transparent. A neutral base. I am allergic to something in MAC Paintpots or I’d use Painterly. LM didn’t show up well, what did creased easily and wore off my hooded lids. Same as you said. I then bought Bobbi Brown in Nude Beach and Shore and they are perfection, both matte with a little life- almost satin. I now have Moonstone and Golden Bronze for a champagne and Taupe shimmer. My quest was over then, but I saw your video pop up and I was curious if you found the same issues and you did! Loved how you put them through a week long trial, without primer on bare lids. I am sick of reviews that are first impressions and screeching about how they’re “obsessed”. You did a fantastic job and thank you!❤

Use a wet sponge or your hands to blend the blushes if you're not using it over foundation. As an oily skin gal I love her stick blushes. They're very long lasting and beautiful. If you like that high light stick you will really like the compact high light.

So, I came to my computer (I usually have KZfaq in the background while I'm doing other things) to say I was shocked by two things. 1. That this video has 16 videos and that you do not have a ton more subscribers and 2. That I was already subscribed (once again, I cycle through things with KZfaq in the background unless I'm really committed). I am blown away with your reviews and how in-depth you are in ways that I haven't found in anyone other than Nikki La Rose as of late. Wow! I am currently in the process of building up a more luxury product based collection after purging everything in my collection so it was nice to see the Prada review! If you were going to pick three eyeshadow palettes that you had to use for the rest of your life, which ones would they be? I'm having a hard time deciding on what I'm going to make my end all and be all's lol.

this is literally the kindest comment ever! thank you!! only THREE palettes?! just kidding. here's what i would say as of today: -Danessa Myricks Lightwork V palette for the best variety in color and formulas -Natasha Denona Glam palette for the best blend (great option for daily, no fuss, no worries eye looks) -Huda Beauty Empowered for my warmer gold/bronzey tones and incredible blend/formulas

I feel like you got a bad Essence blush. I have the peach one and it’s my fave blush. Gives lots of color that glows and lasts all day. Maybe try another one?

love to hear that it works for you!!! since i'm more medium skin toned, i'm guessing another shade would work better for me :) i always keep battles as close as possible (meaning shades too!) hence picking up the peach one

The essence colors that you picked, are for fair skin tones, they have deeper shades. I love them because I am super fair and I don’t look like a clown, they are wonderful. Rarely can I find such things at the drugstore, and they are shimmery, not highlight blast.

Depends on the shade. Some are more shimmery with less color, and some are almost matte with more color. But point taken. ty for the useful comparison

@@EatSleepMascara I only bought one: Bold Heart: it's a satin matte. I know the finishes are different because of swatch videos. I wish it was a bit more glowy. It's an ok blush. It isn't the most long-wearing, the cap falls off, and the color selection isn't amazing, but it doesn't fade quickly either, it's kind of middle of the road 5-6 hours, something like that. Im sure it depends on what I put underneath and on top too.

YES! i actually love this in the waterline. the gel in the colourpop eyeliner makes it super easy to apply, and lasts for a long time in the waterline.

I use Loreal. I think it's the best at blurring...air brush look. I keep trying high end...but it never looks as good. Love the Loreal side on your face. Looks so smooth! =D

for Nars Tinted Moisturizer, I'm Alaska in the winter and St. Moritz in the summer. for Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Foundation, I'm 330 Bamboo in the winter and 350 Maple in the summer. for Loreal Pro Matte, I'm 104 in the winter and 106 in the summer. Hope this helps! :)
