I’m currently transitioning into CSM role and I found this very helpful. Would be looking forward to more CS videos from this channel. Meanwhile, I’m saving this for future reference.

Your video actually checked off all the boxes of why I want to be a PM. I’ve worked in accounting for 7 years and I’m now getting a Master’s Degree with my elective focused on product management.

I'm pm intern at an AI startup, Im recent SWE graduate, in university I exited 1 of my startups and closed other one. 5:25 as swe this has been the harder, I hear customers, hear their wants, and problems and I'm thinking in the technical arquitecture of the solution to start building it asap LMAO, head of product tells me that I have to jot it down into functional stuff first, but it's hard to me idk

Hi Alisa, can you do a video on severe burnout and also talk about what a product person can do if they are in a state of disorganization and is just lost in the moment due to stress and burnout. How can they start fresh immediately despite the past things that might have been forgotten or not done yet? How does a product person get through too much deliverables without having any support?

For me I’m realizing if I can record my meetings as one step it will help as I can go back and relisten but the softwares that I like to use to record are not always approved and team members don’t really like their meetings recorded either but it helps me. So I don’t know what to do really.

Interviews should not and must not be prepared like an interview in entertainment business. This is real world product and features being built. Interviews are not to know what you just worked on but WHO you truly are. Stop faking your personalities as this might win you the job but now you are faced to put on that fake persona through out your job and eventually lose your happiness. This is a terrible mock and I wouldn’t hire her.

Im asking for your opinion? 🙏. Im 61. I have been out if work since 2018 so that i can take care of both parents. Then covid took both of them in September 2021. Im about a month away to finish estate business. I have been a project coordinator, product developer ( I helped many inventors to start their prototypes. Did business plans, cost estimated the product etc.) i do work with all departments to solve issues. I enjoy it. Yes, i have my own ideas. I am a creative person. I can see things in my minds eye and see ways to solve issues. I do have a 4 year degree in technical management. I have noticed that jobs have been hard to find because of the ATS system. I will shift into product manager now. So im updating LinkedIn next. ( I ? Can someone with the unique talent to create and work with all departments restart a career at this age. Im not ready to give up. Im so behind in my life. Outside challenges stalled my career. Please let me know what you feel about restarting at this late in life. Yes, feel free to email me [email protected]. ☮️

Thank you so much for your high-quality videos and all the stellar advice! I'm just barely 17 and have been accepted into my dream school, my dream career is to be a Product Manager, specifically at Apple. But now, I have to reverse engineer my approach as I step foot into this new chapter of my life at U of AZ. I am a highly entrepreneurial, driven, ambitious and empathetic person who would love such a role. Growing up without my biological parents, and being abused and neglected all of my life, I know deeply what failure is like. But it is, in my belief, the raw stimulus for growth and success as you mentioned, so I hope that the PM role might suit me. Anyway, I'm wondering what I should major in, I'm thinking about marketing bec I love photography and selling something people admire, love and think is aesthetic. Also, what are some top certification courses or programs that would benefit me? I know this is a lot, and I thank you for reading all the way down here. I just want some tailored advice if possible. I appreciate your hard work and videos and I hope you'll have a blessed life!❤ I'm thinking about communicating with software engineering and design majors upperclassmen who are like seniors in order to help me build an app. I'm not a technical person at all, have almost no interest in learning coding, but I'm good at statistics and data analysis. Anyway, I want to create an app while in college under the product life cycle steps from conception to completion. Specifically, I want to create a food and cosmetic app that you can download on your phone, scan stuff in stores, and figure out the nutrition profile, how organic/healthy the product is, etc. I believe there is a great need for this. If the plan works and the app is developed and people like it, I would like to sell the idea to Apple, and kind of wiggle my way into PM role at Apple; my dream! Any thoughts about my networking and development strategy. Thank you once again!
