I noticed all of your watches have leather straps. Is there a reason why?
@andrew1212w7 сағат бұрын
I thought for a minute you were rocking a full windsor tie knot then the light changed and I see it’s a four in hand knot.

The trim on the LV watch box is supposed to be leather.
@rhodeswood551320 сағат бұрын
No the lozine trim is made from a very hard vulcanised card, that is designed to protect the edges . All hard side monogram luggage/cases/trunks have it. They are hard angles that are pinned to the piece and don’t stretch🤝

Thank you. Yes I sometimes get that. Is the iron up to temperature? Let it get up to temp . Fill with tap water and put on the hottest setting until all the water has turned to steam and blast the steam button frequently ( do this twice) and hopefully it may clean it. 🤝

Frequent pressing or ironing shows the line on the enf of lapels, so don't get it pressed unnecessarily, hang properly a good fabric suit removes the creasing automatically.

I am seriously considering buying a pair of not inexpensive Crockett & Jones Chukka boots, because unfortunately for me they are (to my knowledge) the only UK manufacturer currently producing narrow fitting footwear. Your cared for boots look fantastic, although like many people I am a bit nervous about wearing suede in the rain. My understanding is that it's basically OK unless they get absolutely drenched. But anyway, thanks again for your helpful video.
@rhodeswood55133 күн бұрын
Thank you …. The style ‘chukka’ is a D fitting so narrower…. Douse them with suede protector …. You’ll be fine 🤝🤝🥂

Those shoes slightly resemble my old black Church's Chetwynds from the early 1990s, which are still going strong, but to be honest have had so many layers of wax polish that any shoe cream applied probably wouldn't even penetrate the leather to good effect. Ironically, I now know how to properly take care of my shoes, but can't really justify the cost of buying new. Thanks for the excellent, informative video.
@rhodeswood55133 күн бұрын
Thank you… take all the old polish off with lighter fuel and start again with the cream and then the polish🤝🥂

Steam iron is just too hot for the pique fabric of the polo shirt. The fabric of polo will not have much wrinkle as dress shirt does. A steamer is more than enough to keep the polo shirt wrinkle free. The rib collar of that kind of polo shirt is subject to deform. Buy polo shirt with a structured shirt collar.
@rhodeswood551310 күн бұрын
I just like them ironed and feel of freshly ironed for well worn beach ready polos… for new I’m sure a steamer works
