MRI takes advantage of the fact that the hydrogen atoms in water are in different chemical environments all over the brain, not just in fluid-filled areas. Anywhere there is a water molecule, that area can be imaged with MRI. It is not confined to fluid-filled areas, as there are water molecules all over the brain. The differing environment of the water molecules in the brain gives them different relaxation times in the static magnetic field when the radiofrequency field is turned on and then turned off, and those differences in relaxation times are what is mapped to the grayscale image.

So I wonder what affects the public mask wearing might have on baby's development? Because I know a huge part of baby's social & emotional development is through facial recognition & expression.. Any info on that?
@parkerwhitehouse3 жыл бұрын
Great question! I would guess that the impact is eye-contact/facial recognition portion is minimal on babies as they're likely just not spending much time out of the house at all (what it does for their social anxieties/attachment issues could be a different story though). So all they see are parents/caretakers who are almost certainly not wearing a mask in the home. But for school age children it will certainly be interesting to see the long term impacts of this - as facial recognition/nonverbal expression are skills students develop well into adolescence - skills they can't hone quite as sharply with masks.

It was never proven the British were supporting Native hostility in the North west. Tecumseh was in the south seeking allies against American expansion when Harrison attacked Prophetstown so he didn't flee to Canada. Harrison destroyed the food stores in the hope the winter would solve his Native problems. (The attack was intended as genocide) Tecumseh was forced to go to the British for help to feed his people & agreed to come to British help should the USA attack Canada in exchange for food & iron pots. (This was on record from the meeting) There was no alliance between British & Tecumseh's confederation prior to this. So you are reversing cause & effect. It was the USA's actions that created the British Native alliance not the British Native alliance that created a need for war. Britain had no policy of Impressing Americans. That is also a distortion of the facts. The trade restrictions were real but no difference then many blockade policies implemented by the USA in its history.
