Finally! Thank you Sir... I been looking for a video like yours, in which shows how to assemble this tool. I'm from Mexico and buying this framesaw it would be to expensive so I am trying to build it myself. I been trying to figure out how is the mortise and tenon joint made, specially the part which has been reinforced with a transverse little wood piece on one side of the saw between the brace and the arm. I'm guessing is just a "T" bride joint like this kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sM1lhcakx9jYio0.html. That part is still unknown for me, I would be very thankful if you give me some advice... Please correct me if I am wrong: the tenon on both sides is made out of piece of metal and it is shaped like those biscuit from jointer machines. I increase the resolution at maximum and that is as much as I can figure out. ... As you mention indeed using hand tools is a pleasure, and... I intend to find pleasure while build it as well!

Question: I have a '76 R90/6 and I had learned a method to measure the fork oil levels by dipping from the top. I think one of my forks mayhave leaked a bit and want to balance the amount of oil to be the same in each. Anyone know what the level should be with the proper amount of oil (265cc). I show about 14.75cm in my forks now.

Late reply but it is normal for the day to advance slower than the date and take a few hours. I have authentic Seikos with day date complications that do this. Also to your confusion at 27:40 (“anyways that’s Chinese for something” made me chuckle) English is always first so it advances through the second language before going to the correct day in English. In your case it ticked over from Thursday to four in Chinese (四) before going on to Friday.

Friend, should the NH35 movement be crown at 3.8
@HeikosGarageАй бұрын
There are two versions of NH35, one is for a 3 o'clock position and the other is for a 4 o'clock position. As I understand it the 3 o'clock version can also be used for cases that have the crown at 3.8 due to the date wheel aligning with the window even when the crown is at 3.8. The 4 o'clock version is the one I used here. I know my crown is slightly past 4 o'clock but I haven't noticed no misalignment. You also have to make sure you get a dial with dial feet in the correct location for your installation. I guys I got lucky that it all worked out the way it did.

Hey Heiko greetings from Spain. Thanks for the video, many effort there. How did you manage to remove the old leaky seal? Any particular advice, tool, lever or something similar? I suspect that there is a problem with that seal in my father's 1981 bmw r65. When I rescued the bike out of a dusty garage the rear wheel was cover on coked oil and dust. After cleaning the wheel I kind of see through the little wheel orifices that the brake shoes are oily. I am planning to remove the rear wheel to inspect, replace the seal and the brake shoes and pray a bit. I was afraid of having to overhaul the rear drive but since I saw your video there is a chance. Thanks again.
@HeikosGarageАй бұрын
The seal is accessible and was removable with a normal seal puller. A oily rear wheel sounds like a seal is leaking. Good luck.

you can't delete the free play of rocker arms in that way, every single rocker arm support is centerd by itself, so you can adjust that play only mounting a custom bushing with the right thickness or let the engine rattle.

Use a piece of rodico to stick the hands to it. So you can manoeuvre the hands more easily and put them on faster.

I was surprised that, in fact, Shure still produces this mic. As of today, 5-04-24, it costs $149 on Shure's website. According to Shure's website, the capsule is identical to an SM57.. The body is nickel plated, and the transformer is multi-tapped for changing the impedance like the originals that used the Amphenol connector before the XLR..
