Ware is going before Edey because he has more Upside

Ware looks like he could switch between the 4 and 5 as needed - especially if his 3 is falling at the NBA level. The Heat could use him with Bam potentially or Jovic potentially. The Kings could use a shot blocking 4 next to Sabonis. That’s him potentially going in the teens. Edey is what he is, and good at it, but fits in less spots.

Ware has a big problem with getting his motor running. It was that way at Oregon and he struggled getting going at IU until later in the season. All you have to do is look at his game stats. Just doesn't have the fire in his belly without someone staying on him and firing him up.

Indiana baffles me. Their coach was rumored to possibly be on his way out in the middle of last season, and they missed the tourney, and here they are having one of the best, if not the best transfer class coming in, meanwhile IL plays Uconn in the elite 8 and all Underwood could get are a rag tag group of transfers with the exception of Boswell, but missed out on Storr and Demin and Jones. Just like missing out on Storr and Ray Jay Dennis in 2023. Anytime IL goes deep in the tourney, it doesn't seem to help them bring in top players. Weber's '05 team was the runner up for the natty and it didn't help him get anyone of note after that. He lost out on Eric Gordon who stolen by Kelvin Sampson and Indiana at the last minute, and he couldn't recruit his own nephew and current coach at Duke, John Scheyer, who played for Duke instead. Ridiculous. Underwood needs to lock down Dybantsa as a recuruut for 2025 if he wants to get back to the elite 8 or go further, because this will obviously be a slightly down development year.
