Conhecia esta música e procurei ouvi-la sabendo que me faria bem escutá-la. Agora, meu corpo parece estar se recuperando e minha alma se equalizando. Meu espírito conversando com Deus e sentindo uma paz que não sentia a muito tempo. Obrigado. Fiquem com Deus!

Lindley was drowned in a boating accident barely a year after composing this piece, at the age of 22. He was known as the 'English Mozart'. Such a terrible loss.

Oh…Julia is so good. I just close my eyes and listen - her tone is wonderful and so controlled but I love when she really demonstrates her considerable vocal skill in challenging arias. Would love to hear her live in Scotland.

Very good execution of that aria. She carried the musical line very well with great precision and confidence. In Selva Opaca the Julia s fear was evident. She even crushed sound for better control. in Cherubino's aria She is perfect. Brava!

Sie lächelt Dich doch einfach weg. Das ist so als würde Dir jemand ein Bügeleisen ins Gesicht hauen. Dem Kameramann der die "vecchie cariatidi" mit der Kamera aufnimmt und die ansonsten überkritisch lästern mit offenem Mund und den Händen vorm Gesicht zu sehen ist simply priceless.
