Dejounte Murray was the best player on the Hawks. You can change my mind about it he just is. But the fact that they traded him is crazy. As we saw when Trae Young was injured, the Hawks were on fire. They beat Boston two times. All without Trae, the star player of all of those games was Dejounte Murray, hitting a buzzer beater, Shooting 3's! The Hawks were most likely to win next year, but those chances are gone.

The truth is that I thought that Quin Snyder was going to improve the team and it is quite the opposite. It became a total fiasco.🤦

I can understand why fans feel AJ was just given away...but he was slated to make almost $5M next year...we just added another wing, his shot really fell off this season, and his defense never came around. He hasn't played any sort of minutes under Quinn Synder. So the fact we got something for him is pretty big. There weren't going to be minutes available to rebuild his value.

This kid was playing so well in his rookie year, that we were debating who’s better him or Jalen Johnson. Once he made the comment about Beyoncé music being of the devil, everything changed. He was out a month after for so called personal reasons. He never got a chance to play after that. He went from being one of the surprises as a rookie to can’t get on the court on a bad team.
