3:23 “vertical faces no resistance” but will be slowed down. as it now has to cover more distance. making the 2 beams always synchronized. making this experiment invalid. as it can never detect any stream of any medium. including sound and water surface waves. 😊

1. How they define the distance exactly? 2. Why the frequency of the tooth and gaps only matters? 2*720?

The conclusions are very narrow-minded because it doesn't take into account that some of its assumptions are false. For example one of the conclusions could be that the earth is not moving, or at least moving at a negligible speed. Or another conclusion would be that the ether doesn't move.

The answer is very simple. The nature of light and magnetism is instantaneous, always! All I have to do is watch the sunrise or turn on a lamp. The lamp could be 500 KM's away and the light would still be there instantly. The luminous ether is dynamic and does not rest and no translational movement of the earth can be measured with an interferometer, but society does not want to accept this answer, instead it would rather cling to a diabolical lie!

What nonsense!! Michelson Morley's experience does not prove at all that there is no so-called ether and that the speed of light is the same from every direction! No one has ever measured the one-way speed of light. Of course, the reflected light reached the observer at the same time, but this is due to the contraction of the dimension in the direction of motion! Nobody knows what the actual distance measured in the structure of space is from the M1 and M2 mirrors to Ms. The forces in the atom are transferred by photons and to keep the electron at the same time distance from the nucleus, the atom becomes elliptical, smaller in size in the direction of motion.

Nice video but to be clear, there WAS an interference pattern.....the notion that they had the precision back then to position the mirrors exactly equidistant is wrong......what they DID observe was that the pattern didn't change when the orientation was adjusted......same conclusion but i think that detail is important.

The distance travelled is completely wrong, since you are using your eyes to observe, if a camera is placed on a tooth of the saw to observe then the distance measured will be correct. Since you used your eye as a screen, you need to add that to the distance covered, even the diameter of your eye ball should be added along with the distance between the saw and the semi-transparent glass.

Hello author, I've recently been working on a mathematical physics chronicles content and I very much need to edit 5 seconds of footage using the footage from the video you created, I really, really need the 5 seconds of material. I'll be sure to credit the source of the footage and @ your channel when I'm done with my work. I very much recognize your work and thanks again. : ) (The above text was translated by me, using a translation program, so please forgive me if I use the wrong words)😀

But your waive hits the mirror that doesn't exist in the either the way you have it shown so the angle take the same time at a different distance.. how they found time travel. Our physical aspect doesn't fit the spherical essence of reality.. what you have shown is in a 2d format.. what happens isn't in 2d more like a 3d.

How possibly could you calibrate the speed of that wheel so accurately using only your eyes? Ha. You can't. Somebody has to run the stopwatch even if it is to calibrate the lasers it all falls apart with the weak link in the chain of time measurement - the human eye and thumb reflex. Compared to the speed of light! Ha ha ha ha ha your thumb don't know jack buddy human error can never be removed and c is unknowable and inestimable. It very well could be equal to infinity. You wouldn't ever know

Very good work. My question, as always, is how possibly can you know the speed of the wheel? You can never know the speed with such accuracy to approach the measurement of the speed of light. Just as you can never know the speed and position of any object in the universe simultaneously. God is very tricky and the speed of light is better understood as the passage of time, as in light gives time to the universe. Or maybe I'm just a fool trying to put God in a little box and write Him down on an index card

Can something travel through nothing? The physicists say that this only means physics instruments are not capable of measuring absolute motion, they can only measure relative motion.

To reject the aether because of this experiment is to reject the theory of Relativity. Using basic relativity math, it's easy to see why this experiment won't be able to detect an aether even if one exists. The 2 way speed of light is the same IN ALL DIRECTIONS for all inertial frames of reference, so even if you are moving relative to the aether, it is impossible to measure your velocity relative to it using 2 way light signals.

The fact there is no interférences, even the onces caused by Foucault earth rotation should show us that there is an ether but sticked to the earth's surface, according to me. Or on the reverse hyperfluid in wich the movements don't disturb the perfect galileen Light propagation bound to earth's surface.

there is intrinsic error in this method. you cannot guarantee that each slot in the wheel is EXACTLY the same. Because PI is not exact it can never be accurate. each slot must be made to within wavelengths of accuracy that cannot be achieved.

light has not been measured in One Direction, and cannot Einstein even said we only know the reflective speed of light, not that of light in One Direction. So, hence the true speed of light is a theoretical, never measured

This is incorrect knowledge, and should be retracted. The same as claims that Roemer discovered it. Roemer used a telescope for his observations. This means he would always be seeing Io and Jupiter through a telescope, with no delay.

But this experiment only possibly shows that there is probably no Aether. It shows nothing that is useful for the Special Relativity theory. No conclusion can be made that can be then used in the SR hypothesis.
