Let's be honest. Beyond all the gimmicks and fancy stuff thrown in to lure buyers- what matters most in a car is the engine, transmission, ride/handling and reliability- that's where Japanese cars shine compared to Korean Cars and Toyota is the leader followed by Mazda and Honda which are equally good after it. Proud owner of a RAV4 Edge Hybrid here - love it! Only gripe is the CVT being loud when you accelerate uphill.
@good2freelance119 сағат бұрын
Rav4 hybrid is not EV as it uses petrol motor to move the car. The byd hybrid is EV as it uses petrol engine to charge the battery, and electric motor to move

$100,000 AUS for a Chinese 4x4 ???? I think not!!!! But this is only the beginning….. Once the Chinese get it right…. This 4x4 will conquer the market!!! In the 1950’s all car markets looked after themselves…. USA looked after the America’s. France had its own car manufacturers along with Italy and Germany…… 1960’s saw the start of globalisation in the car industry…..UK serviced the commonwealth…. USA started exporting cars….. But the 1970’s arrived with the oil shock!!!! Japan seized the day and started exporting to the world….. And Japan had the market for two decades….. Then along comes Korea….. Kia ….Hyundai etc etc Again they had the market for two decades!!! But now China has arrived!!!! And they to will have the market for two decades!!!!! Then comes INDIA!!!!🇮🇳 A sort history of the international car industry!!!!! Regards 👨🎤🇳🇿😎👍🍸🍸

I find these reviews interesting. A focus on Can a drink bottle fit, when clearly these vehicles are designed for soccer mums with their lattes. So yes the takeaway latte cup will fit. Why not talk about how Ford had issues but they’ve been addressed, if indeed they have. Why not question how GWM can make a deliver into country a vehicle for 20 grand less.

That's a pretty fair assessment. One aspect to consider that is missing is the long-term reliability of the motor. In this Isuzu wins. Toyota are having some real issues at the moment. they had to go back to their old 2.8 engine because the 3.0 was crap, (don't mention Tacoma). Despite toyotas problem here, Ford rates even worse!
@markthomas8766Күн бұрын
Mind you Isuzu needs to watch their sensor problems (just like Toyota and Ford).

What’s the point in a hybrid if it gives less BHP (150 down to 134) and doing the same MPG as the XV?

This is much more a competitor to the Macan and other mid-size Euro SUVs given the features, design, and the fit and finish. When compared to the new Macan EV it’s a fairly compelling offering because it offers a great deal for the price. Fully optioned with the performance pack, Napa leather, H/K sound system I think it sits just under the $130K mark. I think the Hyundai and Kia comparisons are off, personally.

F-type awd v6 tuned to 475hp, better sound actually imho (1970's F1 sound). No issues at 65k miles. I put metal coolant tubes on it to prevent the one known issue. Used, F-types are amazing deals. Best deal on the market by far.

Hybrids don't count. Model Y is the best selling car in 2023, so look at the Seal versus Model Y. The RWD has LiFePO4 batteries. not Li. You can't get the basics right.

BMW's are empty $ pits after 50k miles and/or 5 years old. Lexus will ride like new after 100k + miles. Quality is perfect. I'm the 2nd owner of a 2002 ES300 with 183k miles, drives like new, nothing is broken. Quiet like a vault, solid like a tank. Luxurious. Love the IS350 F Sport, maybe when i retire in 4 -5 years I'll get a 2021 in great shape.
