This guy is my favorite designer. partied with him a few times, before I knew he was a designer. Seeing him for the first time I said to myself “if this guy makes a high end clothing line, I’m ALL IN.” I stumbled across Mike Amiri Jeans in 2014-2015 on social media via a fashion blog or hashtags, can’t remember which one. I Was so blown away by the Mx 1s that I and googled his name. At that time, the only thing I could find on the entire internet outside of pics of pieces, was the interview he did with you guys. When i saw Alex was one of this guys models, that made me even more excited about Amiri, on top of hearing about the juxtaposition of the materials he used and the distressing he put them through. So when Amiri got popular, I was looking for a new high end clothing brand with a unique identity. Me and Alex are conected on ig and around that time, he started posting Bossi pieces and I was FLOORED. Since then I’ve been rooting for him. Not only cause I partied with him a few times and he’s doing things at a high level, but because his pieces are actually REALLY good and look/feel way more advanced than they may appear in pics, such as the irridescent details (buttons zips)…definitely rooting for this guy 💯
