Well for one, the controls are so accurate, that you don't cue accidental rolls or attacks if you press a button multiple times, on top you have more I-frames, so you can be a bit more lenient with your timing. The areas themselves are the easiest by far, but I think even the early bosses are harder than some of DS1/2s more difficult encounters.

Dark souls 1 was my first soul game, I found it harder then Elden ring which Elden ring was my second souls game, after I completed that I went to dark souls 3 which is easier then Elden ring and dark souls 1

If you're here in more recent years as a 2024 player, after my first playthrough my extra tips are: 1. BUY CLOTHES! EQUIP THEM AND UPGRADE THEM. Go to the fairies. They make climbing, fighting, swimming and everything so much easier. 2. Get Revali's Gale and Daruk's protection first! 3. Use elemental reactions, fire on ice enemies, shock on water enemies. It's an instant kill sometimes. 4. Grind shrines and unlock all the map as the first task even before finishing all the divine beasts. Get revali's gale to help with this however.

Dark souls 3 is the most adaptable one ,you might die a lot but if you put a bit of mind and patience you'll see what to do

DS1 has the best world design. 75% of he bosses can be skipped. I love how elden ring is harder if you never fight side bosses or use spirit summons. DS3 was amazing, it's my second favorite after elden ring.

Ds3 definitely feels easier because of how much more control you have over your character, because in ds1 it felt like rolls and certain actions have massive delay, while you still can queue an action in ds3 it's a lot easier to recover from it because of the faster response time between actions, being able to move faster is such a key difference in ds3.

Dark Souls 3 was the hardest one for me.

DS3 is the best of the 3 for sure, I have finished it many times with the last time being a week ago. I am currently replaying DS1 and man that game has some very frustrating areas and mechanics that they mostly got rid of in DS3. I just think the Ringed City DLC has some of the most infuriating and cheap areas

If you cut out the bosses that are just a bunch of enemies the most of the bosses are better then ds1 and there would still be more of them Ds1 has 3 asylum demons and centipede demon and also bed of chaos Ds2 has better bosses in my opinion and they have much more of a challenge where as ds1 only has 1 or 2 hard bosses and they are both in the dlc
