So I’m a Honda guy myself. But looking to get a new bike. Just torn between the yfz450r and raptor 700r. So what do you think would be all around better bike?

2005 honda 400ex was the first quad i ever had or rode loved tha machine!

Sounds and looks awesome man! Just found your channel, your trail look identical to the ones i have and ride by my house in CT! If you put in some dirt gap and table top jumps , whoops and some built up berms in few corners theyd be identical, so much fun regardless though. I sold my yfz450r and got a raptor 700r and did air filter, full akrapovic exhaust, power commander, skid plates, more aggressive race style tires and different bars and absolutely love it since i do more enduro/cross country style riding , trail riding and have some dirt jumps ect i built on the trails by my house.

Looks like an absolute blast! Those types of trails look identical to the ones I have by my house in CT! Which do you prefer for the trails like that the raptor 700 or yfz450? I had the yfz450r and sold it for a raptor 700r. I find having reverse, more low end instant torque, the sitting position on the raptor are better for trails, some dirt jumps ect. I did skid plates, full akrapovic exhaust, changed the bars, did a air filter and power commander and also more aggressive tires. With those basic mods I really like the raptor better since I'm not racing on a mx style track. What is your take on the two machines, know its kind of nit picking em but like to hear what other riders think, how they set their machines up and so on.

How much does it cost for a one day pass at CAW these days? I haven’t been since 2018 I think. Also do you go to brushy mountain motor sports park? I live in western NC, and have a damn near showroom 2013 400x, that I bought from Honda of Shelby in July 2017. I just got the carb redone completely on it, it is still a bone stock bike. Thanks in advance, I do know CAW is rather expensive lol, and it’s a couple hours from me so I go for the day and come back

Lean back going down hile I grew up riding a 200m atc when I was like 8 crashed a a few times trying to keep up with my dad on his warrior this was like back in 2002 but it does make u a better rider Iv been there alot of bikes and right now I got a 400ex and love it for what it is

i have never been on a atv or anything like that but a few months ago my dad ask me my brotehr and my sister if we wanted to go ride some i was like totally and it was fun but man you do get very muddy

My dad had one. A few mods. A super trap pipe. Wider axle and smaller rims on the back. That super trap pipe was awesome sounds like a Harley. Had a ton of compression lol

i found one on marketplace for 3000 lowballed to 2500, when he sent a video if him revving it white smoke came out, not sure if it was because he revved it cold what do you think everything else looks good

Honda TRX 400 all the way, compared to the other bikes you just glide over everything, sometimes I wonder if the pogo sticks are just meant to be for that kind of trail, the better the shocks are the more on the ground it seems, the 400 kind of just touches and glides over the rough terrain.. i love the 400ex, best quad for the trail.. you also ride like a demon.

@Brewer Offroad it is possible to adapt a raptor so that it has the same driving behavior as your yfz450 and by that I mean that it tips over less quickly and throws its butt more easily, so basically all the good things about a yfz450 but with the engine of a raptor because then you have to tinker less quickly, such as preventively replacing the piston, etc.
