Wouldn't it have been better without the music in the background? Voicing is not this simple. You have to take into consideration resistance, volume, and regularity among all the jacks. Frankly, the sound of the "finished" jack tongue sounded rather harsh even with the sonata playing.

Please tell me why the bass seems to be weak compared to full size harpsichords? Or is it only recording? Does the size of the soundboard matters that much? I built one of these many, many years ago, (back in 1978). Almost the same color also. Thanks for sharing, brings back memories. I sold it through HCH, back in 1992. I wonder what ever happened to it.....

What did you use to do the marbling? colored paper? If so, should you pay attention to anything specific when choosing paper?
