I built a nice place for my chooks but they love sleeping in the top of one of my many gums.😂
@Thehuntsmanshow20 сағат бұрын
That's crazy that they get that high. My chooks tend to stay pretty close to the ground and don't roost higher than about 1m.

Hey mate! Fellow hunter here, in your intro at the forest. It looks very similar to the forest I hunt at. By any chance are you at Mansfield State Forest on Harolds Track?
@Thehuntsmanshow20 сағат бұрын
Hey mate, nope. This video was filmed at Enfield state forest, not Mansfield State Forest. Would have been crazy if you could pick the location based on the track haha. Mansfield is pretty popular though.

It's come a long way, and there are even better devices than this monocular on the market.

common sense and reasoning will never get in the way of an agenda with this government. fishing hunting 4x4 and Men all on the chopping block
@Thehuntsmanshow3 күн бұрын
Hmmm I disagree. Common season and reasoning communicated correctly, with a loud enough volume can make a difference. We need to stay positive and optimistic, otherwise we'll just give up communicating.... that day will be the true demise of hunting if we let it happen.

I only hunt on private property. this is roughly 5000 acres worth of land with a property that's a mates who i can go with that is another 13,000 acres. the land i hunt on has been through building a relationship with multiple property owners, 1/2 hr from home. you can't share this information as this will likely upset the property owners. deer hunting, on private property i go to, is more harvesting.
@Thehuntsmanshow3 күн бұрын
18,000 acres' is quite a lot of country. Nice work getting it. It's a tricky one, but you're right. You've got to respect the property owner first and foremost.

Lighter or firestarter and matches, metal canteen to boil water, multi tool and folding knife, first aid kit, space blanket, garbage bag, flashlight, compass, whistle, signal mirror, local topo map, ammo, fishing line and hooks, bug net for head and face, hat and gloves/ sunglasses. All very small and light. Worth their weight in gold to truly survive a bad scenario

The videography & production is skyrocketing with every video! I've never had the chance to go Duck hunting before, and maybe I never will get the chance - But you've done a great job showcasing the heart of what duck hunting means to people.

Thank you KC :) I'm glad it came across well on camera. Duck hunting isn't an easy thing to capture. Looking forward to hunting with you very soon.

Great vid ! Awesome getting the whole family involved. Duck is my favourite game to eat ,will definitely give that recipe a go. I have never been duck hunting but have started learning all the different duck species.
@Thehuntsmanshow15 күн бұрын
TJ you should get into it mate, you'd love it. You'll probably have to wait until the 2025 season now as I believe all of the WIT tests which are required to hunt ducks have all be ran for this year. But keep an eye out for the end of the year when they start to run them again :) Then you can go out and get your own ducks rather then buying them from the supermarket.

I grew up going duck hunting and retrieving birds since I was five, now I go out with my daughter and son. Family is what it’s about. As you said teaching kids to connect with nature . Teach them to harvest their own food and be respectful is priceless. All hunters , outdoors people and true conservationists need to banned together to keep duck and quail hunting for our future generations.
@Thehuntsmanshow15 күн бұрын
Well said Rory. I completely agree with you. Banning together and positively representing ourselves, our community and our culture is what we need to do in order to keep it alive. It's awesome that you go out with your daughter. Keep it up!
